It’s a true honor to bring back one of our past originals on the label, and put up some new fresh remixes on it. It gets even better when we have the chance to do it from one of our closest guys to the label, the super talented Taylor Raburn, more known through his Sedi moniker. Being a stellar figure on the scene for quite some time now, with his tremendous music out through some of the finest labels in the business, he now returns to us once again with his masterpiece “Zzyzx”, a production that was originally released back in the end of September 2013. At that time on his 2 track EP, “The Expedition”. This time we are to fresh it up once again adn include it with 3 brand new remixes, coming from 3 super talented names in the business.

1st out is a rework coming from the Manchester and UK bound brilliant producer Hanski who returns to us once more, with a fantastic remix on this beauty. He has spiced things up on on Taylor’s original ideas, to bring new texture and drive to this already great original idea. We feel really strong for this interpretation, as Hanski though his music has spoken his own language for a long time, be ready for a wonderful melodic breakdown.

For the 2nd remix on the release, we see the return of the Canadian bound producer DGM to PHW. As always he delivers in flare and style were bring on his full artillery of sounds to build an absolute monster, he most definitely is to bring out the best in you through his interpretation. It’s packed with loads emotional tweaks and turns, and it’s just a must have as he is building something unique with his trademark sound design here.

Last out is a new addition to our roster, as we are proud to bring the Russian wizard, Sergey Shemet to our home. Being seen with a wonderful remix for Encanta a while back, gaining heavy support from world leading DJ’s, he now moves ahead with this marvellous re-take on Sedi’s monster.. With rolling bass chords, driving melodic hooks and the use of Taylor’s vocal chops, he brings on a fantastic remix through pounding and emotional sound structures, we love it.

All in all, we feel truly great about having this wicked release in store for all of you, and we do hope all fans of proper progressive music, feel we have gotten the very best and most talented together here, happy days guys!

Two months after Paul van Dyk’s weeklong run at Beatport’s #1 with his Ummet Ozcan collaboration, ‘Come With Me’, the electronic music savant brings dancefloor citizens another clean-through-the-hoop slam-dunk! ‘Only In A Dream’ provides PvD fans old & new with another enticing hint as to what lies inside the forthcoming ‘The Politics Of Dancing 3’ ‘box’. 

Having caught PvD’s ear in a remarkably short space of time, the co-production chair for ‘Dream’ is shared with bright-young-studio-things Jessus & Adham Ashraf. In keeping with their quickly propagating sounds, the Columbian/ Egyptian pairing channel trancier frequencies into the track.
Equipping ‘Only In A Dream’ with its embracive once-heard/never-forgotten vocal is English singer/song-writer Tricia McTeague. No stranger to music’s upper tier, she’s worked previously with esteemed producers like Nile Rodgers and Narada Michael Walden; has sung support for legends like Lionel Ritchie & Elton John and now grafts her Morissette/Vega-like expressionism, chapter & verse into Paul & Co’s, ‘Dream’. 
van Dyk’s own versions cover the homebase with the Original Mix ready to chuck the ear of radio, while its Club Mix compatriot zeroes straight to the heart of the dancefloor. 
Remix-wise, VANDIT Records master sergeant Chris Bekker drops a booming near-instrumental vision, with lucent melodies, 303 sonics and canyon-like depth to its production. Owen Westlake - previously known for his rewires of tracks by Tiësto and others - drops ‘Only In A Dream’ further into the deep house frame. Hookily looping and shadowing its chorus, in & out of the production fabric, he stirs Dream’s waters even deeper.

It is our great joy to present Shingo Nakamura & Max Flyant's "Only Silk 03", the third edition in the annual compilation series, inspired by the acclaimed Frisky Radio show of the same name. Japanese sensation Shingo Nakamura is one of progressive's most beloved talents and has contributed more tracks to Silk in our label's history than any other artist. With several artists albums, countless top-charting singles, and international DJ events to his name, not to mention consistent radio support by many of the world's leading house, progressive, and trance DJ's over the last few years, Shingo continues to find inspiration as an artist, never failing to captivate audiences with his exceedingly emotive and visionary compositions. In January 2008, Silk Digital released its very first single, M.A.Z.7's "Summer Day", featuring a collaborative remix by label inspirations Mango and Arthur Deep. Nearly 8 years later, we're overjoyed to present the first of a two-part offering, in celebration of Silk Digital's 100th single release. To honor the occasion, we've invited several label veterans, with whom we have had the honor of working for the better part of a decade, to rework several of their classics.

Mango, the celebrated Russian musician who laid the groundwork for the definitive melodic progressive house sound of our imprint, contributes the unforgettable "Will You Stay", featuring Ukrainian duo Jozhy K and Angel. Technically not a rework, since the original version was never released, this inspiring cut nonetheless features Mango's signature sound: ethereal chords, soaring above a gentle progressive house groove. Meanwhile, Angel's plaintive vocal hooks strike a poignant chord in the listener, including the titular refrain, "Will you stay, beside me, in the darkness?"

Next up, the one and only Shingo Nakamura, fresh off his "Only Silk 03" compilation, offers a fresh take on his classic, "Alice In Wonderland"; the original version just happened to be his first ever contribution to Silk Music, back in May 2009. The 'Rework' begins with a peak-hour groove and a lush atmosphere; at the quarter turn, a layered bassline cuts through the mix with ferocious intensity; meanwhile, dancing piano lines herald the glorious main theme in the breakdown. The enormous drop, following the break, showcases Shingo's refined DJ sensibility.

Another legendary talent, Kobana, is also fresh off a release on our label collective: his deep take on Dan Sieg's "Gloom", featured recently on our Arrival division. The Polish veteran has played an integral part in defining the sound of Silk's "deeper" side over the years, and from that spirit, his modern 'Rework' of "Play" draws strong inspiration. In the early going, a chilled groove is punctuated by a variety of ominous jazzy effects, including subtle echoes of the original theme. The noir-influenced soundscape continues to crescendo toward the main break, where the incisive main piano theme is finally revealed.

Rounding out the release, another Polish talent, Monojoke, presents a fresh interpretation of his 2008 classic, "And Always Sunshine On Your Face". Having the distinction of being the first Silk artist to receive support on "Trance Around The World", Monojoke's consistent contributions to Silk over the years have included a variety of outside-the-box electronic masterpieces. His 'Rework', as to be expected, features an innovative groove, enhanced by numerous, outer-worldly atmospheric effects. As the track progresses, the bass gets chunkier, and the main theme takes on a cosmic flavor, offering the perfect soundtrack to a celestial voyage.

The last time Armin van Buuren used the name Rising Star was almost 15 years ago, and it's safe to say that not many people thought the classic sound would return once more. Matt Bukovski - Sinfonia [A State Of Trance Episode 729]

We are super excited to bring on the full artillery of sounds from our close friend of PHW, Martin Graff for another sensational release. Being a force on the scene for a long spell, and also the guy having faith in us guys running PHW; as Martin Graff was the guy to deliver our ever first release, we of course feel proud and happy each and every time he delivers a release together with us, for what has become his home label. 

With the title track, named as “Beverly Road”, Marcin (as his real name is) delivers a fine melodic fusion of sounds, where he bring on a sweet production full of life and sparkling vibes.

The 2nd production being brought on, is a more driving production, this one going with the title “Go Far Enough”. This one includes a collaboration with the sweet angelic vocals of Russian female artist, Eva Kade. She is a songbird not needing an introduction, as she has been delivering some fantastic material over the years. Here she bring on the “creme de la creme” with her exceptional vocals that we are certain will rock your sets. 

The 3rd track in this package, coming as another collaboration, this time together with Marcins buddy, Kalim Milo. Great piano play together with vocal additions bring on a tasty tweak on this driving production. We absolutely love it and feel the vibe with this one without a doubt. 

To round things off, and close this package in, we see another melody driven production coming from Martin Graff on his own. This one, baptized as “Ghosts Of Africa” is a more trance oriented production, full of sparkling life, drive and energy that showcase the Martin Graff alias in full bloom. 

We fully love to have the superb Martin Graff alias back in our house, and we do hope you all find a good need in this package, we for sure do!
