Luck of Access, Andrey Pushkarev's tastemaking label, is back from a year’s hiatus with a new release from an iconic name. No stranger to the world of the finest dub-techno, a Mancunian producer about whom we still don’t know much, @jszeiter delivers three elegant tracks that connect the dots between Detroit-dub and ambient. On the A-side, you’ll find “Scatter” — a rolling and intriguing journey through melancholic and enigmatic dub techno that’s enhanced by drifting delays, gentle forthright drums and crisp percussion. Over on side B, you’ll meet an impressive duo. “Silent Running” is the epitome of surreal broken beats and could become a perfect set-closing track. “Absence” reveals epic and immersive soundscapes that give you a glimpse of what a dystopian future may sound like. Absolutely unmissable.

The Prague-based record label, Harmony Rec. welcomes Shoal, a rising star from the vibrant Dutch scene for their fifth release. 
Isotoop resident, Kenny Kneefel aka Shoal, presents four deep cuts in his Laogan EP, which are groovy, layered with undertones, and mesmerizing sequences. 
Our pick for today ‘Between Thoughts’ is perhaps the most delicate track on the EP. Atmospheric pads, layered with subtle chords and driven by low pitched toms, and gentle congas, make this track an excellent asset for warm-up sets. 
Laogan EP is coming out via Harmony Rec. on April 3rd

PREMIERE: Shoal - Between Thoughts [Harmony Rec]

In utter disbelief of years gone by at light-speed, we are overjoyed (and slightly shocked) to announce the 20th anniversary of Dial Records.
When Dial was founded in Hamburg around the turn of the Millenium we envisioned it as an experimental platform for a musical dialog among close friends - never would we have then thought it would last that long.
Today Dial is like an ongoing diary for us documenting all these years across over a hundred releases, all the countless collaborations with artists and new friends we have made along the way.
In 2020 we would like to take a further look into the future. After the release of Soela's album Genuine Silk (April 24th) and the upcoming XDB debut album in September, our jubilee compilation DIAL 2020 will be the frequent companion throughout the anniversary year. Our favorite artists will be presented on a series of releases- first in digital formats and finally as a very special vinyl edition.
With DIAL 2020 (II) (July 10th) we're thrilled to announce the stunning works of Christopher Ledger, Soela, Whodat, Yone-ko, Jacques Bon & Drux and Carsten Jost. Again we're blessed with outstanding productions by some of our favorite producers and a rare contribution of label founder Carsten Jost.
Throughout the entire year, we will be open for all kinds of media, documentaries, interviews and label stories. A publication documenting the visual endeavors of Dial Records will shine a light on that very crucial part of the label's history and will be released towards the fall of 2020.
