DOT is a new label from electronic dub duo Dialog and it kicks off with their own DOT 1 EP. Dialog is a creative exchange between established producers and live artists Samuel van Dijk @mohlao and Rasmus Hedlund @rasmus-hedlund focused on crafting perfect sound. Rastafarian language and culture run deep throughout their explorations as they work with Jamaican vocalist Benji aka Daveron Dawkins who brings his own live and direct reflections on life to the music.

One hour of unique, sharp, and lively groove from @RomanKhropko, the Berlin-based composer, producer, and label owner with Ukrainian roots.

This is how contemporary tech house sounds: an intelligent journey from deep and melancholic tunes to a playful mood. Roman Khropko has effortlessly settled into Berlin’s music community. As a producer, he has made his name through a handful of EPs that have attracted the attention of the Trommel platform and the vinyl-loving community.

After a series of successful releases, Roman has created a long-awaited podcast for WRAPPED. Throughout its one-hour run-time, you’ll hear many of Roman’s own productions. His hybrid approach and advanced sound engineering skills allow him to create complex, unique sounds that are rich in texture and character.

Roman Khropko not only creates records, but as a mentor, he also helps artists shape their sound by simplifying complex concepts and guiding them on their creative path.

Will You, founder of Oleeva Records and Bristol-based producer and DJ, is one of the few UK artists carving out something distinct within this space of house music. Is It 2 Late is a standout from his latest EP on Berlin-based Stólar, featuring top-tier collaborations with Lb Honne and Orion, and is set for release on vinyl and digital formats on 28 February.
The track carries a raw UK essence, fusing gritty vocal samples with a soft, ethereal flow. Its smooth tempo and euphoric layers come together with ease, offering subtle surprises as it progresses — a testament to Will You’s sharp craftsmanship and his deep understanding of the emotions that reside on the dancefloor.

Misha Spektr @mishaspektr is a producer and DJ from Voronezh with a decade of experience. As the founder of Local Radio @local_radio, he has an extensive touring history and appearances on TESTFM, Renegade Radio Camp, PROEKT, Kivach, and Komrad.

He is the creator, host, and curator of Trip 2 Fantasy, a show where he experiments with dreamy yet vibrant electronic music, taking listeners on a "cosmic shuttle in autopilot mode."

Invisible wire – Misha Spektr 20/03/25

R.i.O. welcomes Brainwave Research Center, a NYC-based duo consisting of house/techno producer Chase Smith and documentary filmmaker Christa Majoras. In early 2023 they freed their debut album “figure 1” via their own label BRC. Two more albums followed. All documenting their love for experimental yet charming music of all kinds.

Their influences span a vast spectrum, from Steve Reich, Laurie Spiegel, and Edgar Froese to Martin Rev, John Carpenter, early Kraftwerk, or the ambient techno of Pete Namlook’s Fax +49-69/45046 label. Yet, Brainwave Research Center forges a sound distinctly their own, seamlessly blending analog synthesis with electro-acoustic experimentation.

On “Psychic Antenna”, the duo takes a gentle rawer approach. The tracks range from the manic verbal Die-Tödliche-Doris-like loops of "I Find Myself" to the meditative cosmic trance of "Open Your Mouth." "Orange Drop" and "Transmitter Park" toy with the dancefloor, channeling slow-motion acid trance and krautrock echoes.

The release is rounded out by three remixes: R.i.O.’s own Benedikt Frey delivers a deep, trippy groover full of inner musicality, while close companion DALO crafts a dark, echo-drenched pop rework, and Berlin’s Nathan Dawidowicz injects psyched nu-disco rhythms, expanding “Psychic Antenna” into seven notions of intense neural oscillations.
