Samuel van Dijk (VC-118A) and Rasmus Hedlund return for a third plate in their ongoing exploration of roots-minded dub techno with Jamaica-born, Finland-based vocalist Benji. 

The vocals set the tone on both these new tracks, as Benji meditates on internal and external forces with his own brand of old-soul wisdom. Better Way is an upfront steppa reflecting on the need for new solutions to solve humanity enduring problems, while Child Was I travels deeper inwards to highlight the importance of lived experience in shaping the inner self as we grow. 

Alongside the vocal versions, Dialog offer up the instrumental versions of the tracks for the full dubwise listening experience, letting every melancholic synth lick and echo chamber drum trail shine through as their project continues to forge its own path in the dub techno tradition.

Pugilist is a Scottish/Kiwi producer and DJ living in Melbourne making a wide variety of underground electronic music. He has released music on record labels such as Modern Hypnosis, Samurai Records, 3024 to name a few and has recently launched his own imprint Ruff Kutz which will see a 12" release in 2025. Known for his well curated musical sets and versatility as a dj, with an armoury of unreleased dubs - no shazam necessary!
