Rahim “Heem” Blocker is a Harlem native, born and raised on the upper west side of Manhattan. Since he was 9-years-old Rahim has been naturally drawn to the production and recording of music. He enrolled in an after school program that had a studio and it was there where he began to take his first few steps toward becoming what people are referring to now as “a phenomenal artist.” For years he tampered with the different programs in the studio until making instrumentals and recording over them became second nature. This gift introduced him to the world as “Ra Dolla” when he was in high school after he shot and edited a low budget music video for an upbeat song that received tens of thousands of views on YouTube. The song was called “5000 Stretch” and it became a hit in Harlem between 2006 & 2007, frequently playing at local basketball tournaments and parties around Harlem. In 2007, Chris Brown was filmed dancing to a beat Rahim produced, and this made even more people pay attention to his work. The video currently has over 220,000 views on YouTube. While passionate about music, Rahim was a good student and graduated in the top ten percentile of his high school class. He left Harlem and pursued his studies at the Pennsylvania State University. 
While attending college, Rahim dominated the hip-hop scene by winning every showcase he entered and eventually hosting his own parties. The parties became his medium to promote his music, and he did this from 2009 – 2013. In 2009, he had the opportunity to open for Wiz Khalifa in a local club near the university. He returned to his hometown to focus on returning to the stage he once left and to show the world how much he has grown since he left, as a producer and as an artist. His music is always an ear grabber and he has mastered the art of being an independent artist through his experiences growing up and experimenting with music. He has a sharp ear for what makes a track shine and he continues to demonstrate how versatile he is through every track he features on or releases. Heem is guaranteed to make any crowd stand to their feet and go crazy with his phenomenal charisma, high energy and work ethic.
