Eleni Ikoniadou is a Reader in Digital Culture and Sonic Arts at the Royal College of Art. Her research sits at the intersection of media art, theory-fiction, and technoculture, with specific attention to sound and voice. Her latest art project, Future Chorus, funded by the EPSRC Human-Data Interaction Network Plus, is a record made from remixes of AI and human lamenters. She runs Fugitive Voices for the MA Visual Communication and is a resident host on Movement radio (https://movement.radio/podcasts/fugitive-voices). As member of the art group AUDINT (http://www.audint.net/www/), with Steve Goodman (kode9) and Toby Heys, she co-edited the anthology Unsound: Undead (Urbanomic 2019) and is author of the monograph The Rhythmic Event: Art, Media and the Sonic (MIT, 2014). She is founder of MAENADS, a platform for collective research-led art projects, and founder and co-editor of the Media Philosophy Series (Rowman & Littlefield).
