Program Notes: 

'Through the Haze' (2017) depicts the devastating wildfires that burned in the American west in the Summer of 2017. Though flames engulfed much of the landscape and many people were forced to
flee their homes, this piece attempts to look beyond the destruction and find beauty through the haze.
