As a child, Diego spent his free time practising gymnastics and playing the piano. Today he is involved in performance training, holistic wellness and music production.

This search for balance and wellness informs his music, where acoustic scenarios move between essentialism and attention to detail. The arrangements move around a stable core, creating and releasing tension.

Higher State Of Elevation represents Diego Suarez's debut as a producer: a playful and light-hearted approach, achieved with the collaboration of Camillo Corona, whose class shines through in the mixdown.

Following a long phase of sound research and experimentation with field recordings, Diego uses a capture of his vocal improvisation recorded from an old iPhone to present himself naked and sincere. Philosophy Of Desire is mixed by MadMaxim, who beautifully interprets the personal and introspective mood.

From this shared understanding with MadMaxim, a joint project was born, culminating in Ode To The Lobe, the fruit of intense experimentation and millions of micro-decisions.

Since the early 90s I'm addicted to electronic dance music and technoid sounds.
I needed always news sounds and beats and this never changed anytime since then, so I enjoy soundcloud nowadays realy much, since I lost a massive 3,5 TB collection with famous recordings and various artists. Soundcloud is now my new jukebox since the beginning of 2013 wehre my mobile connection was getting fast enough to listen the go on android devices.
I share every mix to which I had listened to and where I think this could be nice because I like different kinds of music and thats then to promote the artists and there work and also for saying thx to soundcloud because of the great free social service they made, for listeners artidts producers fans and freaks.

MadMaxim started playing instruments at the age of 7. From djembe to clarinet to saxophone to singing, he acquired many skills in rhythm design, classical music analysis, as well as writing jazz and blues music.

Since 2010, MadMaxim has been DJ-ing as "MXR" at private and public venues, mostly in and around the city of Zurich, Switzerland, playing digital music as well as spinning vinyl.

2019, MXR switched his name to MadMaxim, setting a starting point in his focus on digital music production, mixing and mastering.
