London-based Indian producer Noni-Mouse debuts on Early Reflex with Eyes IV, the latest installment in the label’s Eyes two-tracker series. Following a series of acclaimed genre-fluid releases, Noni-Mouse arrives on the label with her heaviest record yet: a pair of raw, shadowy club cuts that double down on percussive pressure and weighty basslines.With a background that spans 2-step, hardcore, and experimental club music, Noni-Mouse has become known for her sticky top lines, restless rhythmic sense, and tactile grooves. On Eyes IV, she dives into a darker, more physical register—retaining her unmistakable bounce while testing the limits of a more abrasive, stripped-back sound.Opening track “Bracket” lays down lurching breakbeat mechanics and squashed bass beneath flickers of manipulated vocal and synth debris—skipping along the edge of chaos with precision and swing. “Model” stretches out the mood with tense pacing and syncopated drum work, where melodic fragments smear across a pulsing low-end and flickering hi-hats, creating a hypnotic pull built for strobe-lit floors.Eyes IV is a statement of intent from one of the most forward-thinking voices in the contemporary underground—a sharp-edged, club-ready exploration of rhythm and tone from an artist who continues to surprise.

Noni-Mouse - Bracket

WAVEFORMS : a series of collaborative transmissions where producers trade sounds, ideas, and instincts, reshaping them into new forms of club energy.

For this fourth edition, Cardozo invites Flower B, a rising artist from Lyon, for a dialogue rooted in bass textures. Using granular synthesis as a common tool, they exchanged and re-sculpted the same low-end material, sending it back and forth until it bloomed into two distinct cuts.

Flower B delivers a high-velocity piece, weaving speed dembow with sharp, bass-heavy detailing.
Cardozo responds with Photosynthesis, a track that drifts from half-time dancehall into fluid, understated drum & bass, designed with a subtle rhythmic flow.

In 2013, Different Circles launched with Weightless Volume One, a compilation that helped define a new minimalist aesthetic in electronic music. 

Twelve years later and after a six-year pause, the label returns with its tenth release: Ping Volume One.

Like weightless, ping isn’t a genre. It's an approach to anchoring and propelling sound without relying on the steady pulse of a kick drum.

Instead, a single percussive hit — the ping — holds the centre. Dry and high in the mix, or echoing distantly through space, it becomes a temporal anchor. Around it, the rest of the track can undulate, bend, float or collapse.

The term first appeared on Mumdance’s radio show, where playing “the pingy ones” from the Different Circles back catalogue became a running joke. In the Discord community, it evolved into a shared language, with memes, lore and a mascot known as the Ping Devil.

In 2023, Mumdance aired The “Ping Report” a radio show that gathered everything into a coherent moodboard. It included original tracks made by Discord members for the show and set the foundations. From there, more producers began making ping intentionally, and over time, Ping Volume One took shape.

As the idea came into focus, Logos and Mumdance noticed that much of the Different Circles back catalogue, if not explicitly weightless, could now be understood through the lens of ping. It was a sound they had been drawn to long before they had a language to describe it.

Ping Volume One is a document of shared instinct. A collection of tracks connected by feel rather than formula, shaped by years of dialogue between a community of artists and listeners who were drawn to the same sounds & ideas before they had a name.

Fruit d’une longue gestation, E-G-G éclôt aujourd’hui comme la synthèse d’un travail de recherche sonore et introspectif signé par le producteur français Rare0000 (rare-quatre-zéros).
À travers quatre titres résolument club, l’EP déploie un univers alien où chaque son devient matière vivante.
