Placed beside Sinclair’s Ricky/Gunman What [2016] one-two for Keysound, the sino-futuristic instrumental pressure of Bells (RPG Mix) effectively doubles the London producer’s tally of releases in fine style, slyding along Far Eastern scales in weightless dimensions of liquified gamelan melody, zipping syn-flutes and fiyah-breathing Triton bass, all buffeted into sweepingly cinematic contours but all kept locked-on course for the dance and DJs in-the-mix.

Thanks to Sinclair’s up-to-the-minute mixing sorcery and discreet use of sampled dialogue, it’s a strong cut above the instrumental grime field right now, and a mighty strong look for any and all in orbit of grime and it’s current mutations.

There’s nothing we love more than when friendships spawned at an edition of the Red Bull Music Academy blossom into enduring creative partnerships. One such example now comes from Canada’s HomeSick and Germany’s Silkersoft, who first met at the 2015 Academy in Paris. Their collaborative ‘Dataism’ EP brings out the best in both producers, fusing melodic subtlety with forceful rhythms as on “CryptoKey,” one of three cuts on the record.

Munich's hard hitting footwork producer https://soundcloud.com/djends dropped his 1st self-released EP´s in 2016 and followed momentum on labels Nidali, Broken Soles, Forbidden Trax, Good Street Records and Sequel One Records. One of his most notable releases came out in April of this year in the form of a bandcamp self-release brandishing 24 powerful footwork club tools with heavy influence stemming from two legends who have left us: late footwork pioneer DJ Rashad and MPC mashing hip hop virtuoso J Dilla. We are honored to have this producer kicking our mix series back into gear!

After last year’s success of Syncopation, it’s time to release the second chapter: Oscillation. A 21-tracks compilation including producers from 10 different countries, that explores the bass music universe portion between 80 and 87 bpm. Expect a heterogeneous mixture of Footwork, Halftime, Liquid and a good dose of Experimental Sounds all connected by the concept of oscillation. 

As the previous compilation, Oscillation comes with the 'Name Your Price' option. Part of the proceeds will be donated to seashepherd.org, an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization.
