Ly Sas is a young Prague-based techno dj/producer coming from Georgia, Tbilisi. She cut her teeth in music from an early age as a guitarist and songwriter for various rock and metal bands. Subsequently, she started listening to electronic music records coming from Detroit and Berlin that were the main force behind her inspiration to start making and performing beats. Her music draws upon underground and industrial techno but pulls ambient and dark textures into its orbit too.

Her debut EP came out on Variance in 2018, later on Republic Artists - currently she spends lots of time in the studio, preparing for upcoming exciting releases. She is also constantly DJing for British techno label - Republic Artists, also FIX parties. Ly Sas made her name with her unique style of playing aggressive and long energetic techno sets.

DifferentSound invites Ly Sas / Podcast #030

Der junge Künstler Willy Parker wurde in der hessischen Stadt Gießen, nahe Frankfurt am Main, geboren. Beeinflusst von 90er Hip Hop und Trance Beats wurde er in seiner Teenagerzeit auch von der Frankfurter Technoszene angezogen. 
Seine Liebe zu dröhnenden, ätherischen und dunkel treibenden Klängen wuchs schnell und bald begann er, eigene Beats zu produzieren. Seine Freude am Experimentieren ist ebenso groß, weshalb die Genres Ambient und Experimental nicht lange unentdeckt blieben. 
Neben seinem Job als Grafikdesigner gründete Willy mit seinem Partner das Kunst- und Musiklabel SOPTIK. 
Der Fokus des ehrgeizigen und strebsamen Labels ist es, verschiedene Künstler und deren Handwerk zu verbinden und als Gesamtprojekt zu vereinen und zu präsentieren.
