This compilation is more than music; it is a movement. Featuring a diverse range of artists from around the world, Sounds of Freedom encapsulates the resilience, creativity, and passion that define the electronic music community.

All proceeds from this release will go directly to Georgian clubs, helping them recover and continue their essential role in fostering connection and creativity. Every track is a testament to the power of music to heal, inspire, and rebuild.

Born in Kasachstan(1990), moved to Russia in 1997 to Pokhvistnevo next to Samara. after that moved with the German side of the family to Germany. In Germany first of all lived for half a year in the barracks in Friedland (between Göttingen and Kassel) studying the laws, orders, and language of the Federal Republic of Germany. (ahah, I think it would look better if the country is called more officially), I hope they didn’t see :))

Karen—known behind the decks as Catskash—discovered electronic music at 15 years old, sparking a passion that would define her journey. Growing up in Costa Rica, she was influenced not only by the reach and diverse latin music around her but also by her early experiences playing instruments like the marimba, snare drums, and lyres. This background gave her a unique sense of rhythm and melody that she brings into her sets. Inspired by the grace of cats and the beauty of nature, Catskash infuses these elements into her music, creating a deep connection with her audience.

Since starting her DJ journey in 2016, Catskash has become known for weaving deep, emotional, hypnotic sounds in techno, experimental bass, and break beats,  with an emotional edge. In 2021, she took her journey further by moving to Amsterdam, influenced by the city’s vibrant electronic music culture. There, she has been mastering her production skills and drawing fresh inspiration from the city’s dynamic scene, channeling those influences into new and compelling sounds. Every set and track is an invitation into her world, where each beat tells a story and every melody resonates with her unique voice and dedication to the craft.
