" Thanks to everyone who showed their love for the last mix-tape, resulting in a few bookings, and lots of people asking me for track-lists etc, at the same time I submitted a chart on 'trackitdown.net' which had all the released tunes from the mix on it - so that was my gift to you.

As the movement continues, I bring you part two in my series, a bunch of cuts that have been in my DJ set over the past month and some tracks that I've recently signed to Diffrent and one track that I made… Again, I hope you enjoy selection and the whole composition, it gives me great pleasure to announce 'Dexta's Lab vol. 2 is available now… Keep it moving..

Dexta's Lab #2

Chris Royle aka Dexta is a London based DJ/Producer who has been slowly contributing to the D&B scene since 2010. He is one of the co-founders of the giraffe mad record label imprint ‘Diffrent Music’ and has been fronting and developing the label ever since. 

Dexta has taken the Diffrent Music sound on the road since 2010 and tends to play an unexpected selection of music at every event. Bringing through new and unheard of artists, friends and collaborators and even influential music from outside of the D&B circuit.

Dexta has been a releasing artist since 2013 and since has released music on Protect Audio, Diffrent Music, Flexout Audio & Dispatch Recordings, with other work signed to and forthcoming on Clyon Recordings, Nurtured Beatz and his own imprint Diffrent Music.

Much like the Diffrent Music label ‘sound’, Dexta has a wide range of musical influences and this shines through when you listen over his output and the Diffrent Music back catalogue, it’s very hard to pin down a specific kind of style, it’s more about exploring and experimenting with new and different areas every time.

You can look forward to hearing and the possibility of releases of ‘communal’ and ‘general’ collaborations with artists such as Arkaik, Crypticz, Fearful, Lakeway, Mauoq, Mtwn & Sense MC.

I experienced my 1st illegal party way back in 1989 @ Beyond Therapy in London at the age of 16 ....never looked back

Iv'e always loved the vinyl side of Djing but since iv'e been getting left behind by  the fast evolving Technology and the price mark  /  limited sales 
on vinyl , ive recently (2013) started using Timecode on serato plus cdjs but  i prefer  playing  with timecode out of  the 2 technique's.
