And for the past few years we have seen the fania label themselves involving more and more in the current urban scene’s sound with releases that cover a lot of the dancefloor inspired trends as well as trying to keep alive the sentiment that made them a trademark.

El raton without any doubt is one of the most iconic Fania tracks of all time, and being remixed multiple times as well.
So, why Latino Resiste decided to release another remix EP?
Because from all of those already out there, Diezmo remix brings both musical innovation and full spark to the track without losing the feeling.

Today's premiere comes to us from a trifecta of Booms and Claps uptempo bass music favorites: Anna Morgan and Bell Curve's Worst Behavior Recs, Calgary footwork badman Homesick, and Detroit via Denver legend Sinistarr. We've featured work from all three recently, (see Sinistarr's "KNS 2019", HomeSick's "Running on Empty", and our premiere from the Worst Behavior Vol. 2 compilation, A-0's "This Against That") so it's safe to say we were excited to this dream team come together. HomeSick's ghettotech banger "1800AREYOUSLAPPIN" release drops Wednesday, 7/31/2019 on Worst Behavior Recs, and comes complete with a Sinistarr "Hotline" remix, which we're proud to present today as the latest Booms and Claps premiere. If you've been following Booms and Claps for a while, you're certainly familiar with both Andre Lira AKA Doctor Jeep and China-based imprint Unchained Recordings at this point. Although Andre is undoubtedly known for his range and multi-tempo excursions, ranging UK funky to techno to dubstep and grime to more umptempo "halftime DnB" sounds, his releases that could be considered traditional drum & bass are rare in the grand scheme of his vast discography. That being said, you would never guess he's not a seasoned DnB veteran from the expert vision and production of his three-tracker entitled "Unreal EP," forthcoming on Unchained on Friday, April 10th, 2020.

Today's premiere comes in the form of "Angel VIP," a contemporary DnB revisit to his 2014 club-rattling 130bpm anthem "Angel." The original tune was released on the now defunct Trouble & Bass (RIP) and has been known for years as one of Doctor Jeep's standout productions. The VIP version you hear today creates an entirely new shell to carry the always-notable buzzing melody into 2020. Check it out above, and be sure to cop the full release when it drops on 4/10/2020.
