Act One is the solo project of Jack Allsopp. Hailing from the UK, he studied music since the age of 5
and quickly it became his life’s passion. His first introduction was through the UK drum and bass
scene which he eagerly became involved with. He taught himself how to produce and soon got
releases on many labels and tracks played by some of the biggest DJs on the scene before he was 18.
In 2011 he discovered psytrance at the legendary Glade festival and never looked back. After
producing, gigging internationally and releasing psytrance for many years he released his debut full
length album on Digital Shaman records which gained support all over the globe. After his CD
dropped, and having spent six years working with Digital Shamans, he decided it was time to move
on. After a brief hiatus he is super happy and excited to be back ready to shake some speakers.

WHAT'S behind the darkness? Once you start down the path of heresy there is no turning back - and why would you want to? So we plunge even further into the unknown, away from our ancient enemy - staleness, stagnation and normalcy. As we flee we fling open every door we find, revealing not darkness, but chunks of primal chaos, half formed ideas, lost artifacts, fragments, discarded remnants and strange emotions. In 2013, in the highest village on a mountain in the Swiss Alps, a project was born. Having been attending and organising parties for his entire adult life, Nico Z3nkai decided to help his friends, help the music he loves and use his many contacts to create a family of musicians that became what is known today as DIGITAL SHAMANS RECORDS.

It was not long before Z3nkai compiled the first release and made a huge first impression for the label. This CD, Altered Gravity, showed off the fresh talent on the label as well as established international artists that supported and loved what the label was doing.

Their sound quickly spread with many artists seeking to be released on the label, Did playing their music at the biggest events and promoters booking them all over the world including USA, Brazil, Canada, New Caledonia and India to name a few.
