12. Mental Bugs - Mafuba

In 2013, in the highest village on a mountain in the Swiss Alps, a project was born. Having been attending and organising parties for his entire adult life, Nico Z3nkai decided to help his friends, help the music he loves and use his many contacts to create a family of musicians that became what is known today as DIGITAL SHAMANS RECORDS.

It was not long before Z3nkai compiled the first release and made a huge first impression for the label. This CD, Altered Gravity, showed off the fresh talent on the label as well as established international artists that supported and loved what the label was doing.

Their sound quickly spread with many artists seeking to be released on the label, Did playing their music at the biggest events and promoters booking them all over the world including USA, Brazil, Canada, New Caledonia and India to name a few.

Today, having released 4 CDs and numerous EPs and playing at the worlds events, they bring a heavy line-up of live acts and DJs to rock any party with complicated, detailed, full power psychedelic dance music and are quickly making a name for themselves as the label to watch!

Under the ancestral glow of the stars and the mystery of mythological archetypes, djane Alfa Draconis emerges; a name that carries within it the polar force of Thuban, the ancient guiding star of celestial navigators. In her work, every beat and transition is an invocation of ancient symbols that dialog with the pulse of the universe, inviting the audience to a deep and transcendental immersion.

For Alfa Draconis, psytrance is not just a musical genre; it is a contemporary ritual that reconnects the spirit to its primordial state. Their mixes blend organic and synthesized sounds, creating soundscapes that lead the mind to explore inner dimensions and parallel universes. On this journey, the symbol of the dragon; which evokes power, transformation and ancient wisdom, is constantly reinterpreted, making each set a true sensory awakening, where dance becomes the vehicle of evolution.

In each performance, djane builds a sound narrative rich in metaphors. The psychedelic, almost hypnotic patterns serve as a bridge between primordial chaos and cosmic order, reflecting the duality between the old and the new, the mystical and the technological. Through the audacious use of synthesizers and tribal percussion, Alfa Draconis transforms club and festival spaces into sanctuaries where vital energy manifests itself in the form of sound, light and movement.

Jair Osorio, aka Dj Mugwump, resident of Mexico City started his adventure at an early age, attending events of Psychedelic Trance in his country. Then, he began to develop his musical ability, allowing him to play as Dj Set at local parties.
Through the time, he acquired a neat and exquisite taste in terms of Psychedelic Trance.
Since 2014 he is part of the collective TranceNetwork in Mexico City and with his team, he organizes events completely underground. Now, he has decided to have a new style in his sessions and has begun to develop sets with more energy and intensity, to the point of earning today a place in the international Digital Shamans Records label.

Jair Osorio aka Dj Mugwump residente de la CDMX comienza su aventura a una temprana edad asistiendo a eventos de Psychedelic Trance en su Pais y en poco tiempo comenzó a desarrollar su habilidad permitiendole jugar su Dj Set en fiestas locales.
Conforme fue avanzando los años, fue adquiriendo una técnica pulcra y un gusto exquisito en cuanto a Psychedelic Trance se refiere.
A partir de 2014 se integra al colectivo TranceNetwork Team  de la CDMX y junto al equipo organiza eventos totalmente underground. Es a partir de este año que adquiere un nuevo estilo en sus sesiones y comienza a desarrollar sets con mas energía e intensidad, hasta el punto de ganarse hoy en día un lugar en la label internacional Digital Shamans Records.
