Mastermind and Co-Founder of the Cape Town based brand State Alchemy, Alex Profound called on the key players in his arsenal of freshly harvested music. Bringing together forest, dark and traditional psy-trance soundscapes with a common groove and that particular "indescribable something" that just makes you want to spin around and dance! Throughout this journey Profound uses his his signature DJ techniques to remind the listeners that we are still live in the mix. Arturo de Schoenstatt es la mente detrás de Desh, un proyecto que busca crear una experiencia auditiva distinta y profunda contando una historia a través de atmosferas extrañas y sonidos cuidadosamente diseñados para crear energía y poder para el dancefloor, actualmente formando parte de Pixan Recordings donde ha sacado 3 EP´S, La Danza de los Planetas, seguido por Future Abstraction y más recientemente Break the Chain , también colaborando con productores y disqueras alrededor del mundo.

Desh actualmente está trabajando en un álbum que lleva un trabajo extenso para poder llevar una historia y concepto que acompañen a la música.

Patronus Podcast #23 - GrooveMoon

This weekend we continue in the State Alchemy Patronus Records series with Phase1, the DJ act of Daniel Leerhoi from Denmark. Daniel started his journey into mixing at the tender age of just 13 years old, later he further developed starting his skills and went on to jamming on vinyl and CDJs. Eventually he discovered the psychedelic scene in 2005 and since then he’s been hooked! Focusing on night time psychedelic and full-on, he’s sure to get you grooving and flowing to his mixes. 
In 2020 Phase1 has released his first ever VA with Patronus titled: “The First Phase” and his second compilation will be dropping before the end of this year so be on the look out for more to come from this full power DJ act.

In 2013, in the highest village on a mountain in the Swiss Alps, a project was born. Having been attending and organising parties for his entire adult life, Nico Z3nkai decided to help his friends, help the music he loves and use his many contacts to create a family of musicians that became what is known today as DIGITAL SHAMANS RECORDS.

It was not long before Z3nkai compiled the first release and made a huge first impression for the label. This CD, Altered Gravity, showed off the fresh talent on the label as well as established international artists that supported and loved what the label was doing.

Their sound quickly spread with many artists seeking to be released on the label, Did playing their music at the biggest events and promoters booking them all over the world including USA, Brazil, Canada, New Caledonia and India to name a few.

Today, having released 4 CDs and numerous EPs and playing at the worlds events, they bring a heavy line-up of live acts and DJs to rock any party with complicated, detailed, full power psychedelic dance music and are quickly making a name for themselves as the label to watch!
