This month’s Digital Om Productions showcase will be presented by DJANTRIX.

Martin Georgiev a.k.a. DJANTRIX born in 1988 & hails from Skopje, Macedonia.
His first serious contact with music came when he was 10 years old, after which he knew his destiny. Djantrix started performing as a DJ in underground parties and clubs soon rising up as a prominent Psychedelic DJ in Macedonia. Soon after he wanted to recreate his own sounds and began learning production and synthesis.

Now as an individual artist, Djantrix has evolved with a serious and sophisticated focus on intelligent music. He specializes in creating unique psychedelic music filled with highly cutting psychedelic sounds. We can expect to hear from his production very powerful, twisted and high quality serious psychedelic music with a twist of intelligent morning melodies.

BMSS Records series kicks off with label manager BOOM SHANKAR. The talk will be followed with his freshet mix. Don’t miss it!

German based Boom Shankar is a Dj for Psychedelic Trance, the label manager of BMSS Records and an event promoter within Europe. Having been initiated into the Goa Trance scene in the early Nineties and by traveling the globe ever since, his sets are a mirror of the constant melting pot of fundamental Psytrance characteristics.
Whether he is guiding the dance floor through the night or into the morning, the outcome is always a voyage filled with a depth and an energy that allows the crowd to feel a sense of freedom through Trance. Groovy, deep, mature, hypnotic and clearly distinguishable.
Having played at many underground & major events worldwide, he has developed a full understanding of the flow and the energies of each dance floor and is flexible in terms of “styles”. Through his impromptu sets, he is able to interact personally with each dance floor, taking the audience on a trans-formative journey. His sets are a direct form of communication through music.

For Boom Shankar, this process of mutual giving and receiving between the DJ and the audience has led to meaningful feedback from festivals like S.U.N. and O.Z.O.R.A., Antaris, Fusion, VuuV, Glade, Summer never Ends, Hadra, Doof, Moksha, Transahara, Transylvania Calling, Timegate, Ometeotl, Universal Religion, Freqs of Nature, Trimurti, Neon and in clubs from New York to Bangkok, London, Tel Aviv and nearly every other corner of the world. Besides this, Boom Shankar is the label manager of BMSS Records where he has released 6 best-selling compilations so far: Transmissions, Transition, Cosmic Connections, the Trancendance triptych series and the Trancefsuion series featuring artists such as Aes Dana, Braincell, Tristan, Sonic Species & Avalon, Eat Static, Pogo, Lucas & Mechanimal, Egorythmia, Ovnimoon, Touch Tone, Audioform, Headroom & Zen Mechanics, Entheoegenic, Talpa, Martian Arts, Outsiders, ManMadeMan, Pleiadians, Zyce, Atmos, Cosmosis, Electrypnose, Imaginarium, Reversed Logic, Hujaboy, ShivaTree and many more. He is working on his ninth one which will probably see the light in autumn of 2017.

In addition, Boom Shankar is part of the S.U.N. Festival crew in Hungary, the Alice im Wummerland party series in Germany and is working on a new music project together with Soul Kontakt from Malta entitled “Lightsource”.

REPITCH Recordings welcomes VTSS to its ranks. The Polish DJ and producer (real name Martyna Maja) being a proud alumni of Warsaw’s Brutaz club night and Jasna1 club (as well as one of Discwoman’s most recent acquisitions), it is no wonder her style overflows with dark energy and tenacious ravey vibes. Her REPITCH debut channels this same ardor into four heavy-hitting bangers that serve as sonic power conductors and ecstatic stamina enhancers. The industrialized pounding of her drum sounds is always accompanied by a taste for reimagining the classic vestiges of techno, rave, and even hardcore: from hoover sounds and sampled vocal refrains to classic Berlin style staccato synth pulses. In 2013, in the highest village on a mountain in the Swiss Alps, a project was born. Having been attending and organising parties for his entire adult life, Nico Z3nkai decided to help his friends, help the music he loves and use his many contacts to create a family of musicians that became what is known today as DIGITAL SHAMANS RECORDS.

It was not long before Z3nkai compiled the first release and made a huge first impression for the label. This CD, Altered Gravity, showed off the fresh talent on the label as well as established international artists that supported and loved what the label was doing.

Their sound quickly spread with many artists seeking to be released on the label, Did playing their music at the biggest events and promoters booking them all over the world including USA, Brazil, Canada, New Caledonia and India to name a few.

Today, having released 4 CDs and numerous EPs and playing at the worlds events, they bring a heavy line-up of live acts and DJs to rock any party with complicated, detailed, full power psychedelic dance music and are quickly making a name for themselves as the label to watch!
