Gaff Records' debut compilation celebrates the essence and heart of why this label exists. Founder JuliosMap began his journey into the psytrance scene in 2016 by organizing the Psychedelic Gaff parties. As a tribute to those unforgettable nights, the compilation is titled '𝘗𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘎𝘢𝘧𝘧'.

In Irish slang, "gaff" refers to a house or a place where people gather, embodying the spirit of community and connection these events have fostered.

This release features a collection of tracks from artists who have performed at the Psychedelic Gaff parties, bringing together a blend of groove and psychedelia. A huge thank you to all the artists for their incredible contributions, perfectly capturing the energy envisioned for the dance floor.

"The track came together during the last club season on my train ride to Hamburg. I was trying to create a specific acid club sound, combining a heavy-hitting kick with a powerful, rolling bassline. At first, it was just a simple, clean acid tune. After I got home, I added the trance top synth and the insanely powerful vocal. So you can definitely say it’s club-tested and dance-floor-approved. Napra started music production around 2003 with shitty hiphop beats in Fruity Loops. Since then, he's taken a trip through progressive metal, different DAWs and various tries at electronic styles. He met the psytrance scene in 2011-12 and had a blooming relationship with 16th note basslines and unnecessarily frequent and large kick drums ever since. At the moment he's settled at at least 175 brainfucks per minutes, causing mass cyber-desctruction in Earth's mortal human community.

In 2013, in the highest village on a mountain in the Swiss Alps, a project was born. Having been attending and organising parties for his entire adult life, Nico Z3nkai decided to help his friends, help the music he loves and use his many contacts to create a family of musicians that became what is known today as DIGITAL SHAMANS RECORDS.

It was not long before Z3nkai compiled the first release and made a huge first impression for the label. This CD, Altered Gravity, showed off the fresh talent on the label as well as established international artists that supported and loved what the label was doing.

Their sound quickly spread with many artists seeking to be released on the label, Did playing their music at the biggest events and promoters booking them all over the world including USA, Brazil, Canada, New Caledonia and India to name a few.

Today, having released 4 CDs and numerous EPs and playing at the worlds events, they bring a heavy line-up of live acts and DJs to rock any party with complicated, detailed, full power psychedelic dance music and are quickly making a name for themselves as the label to watch!
