2015 saw Stephan Bodzin release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life and Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. After its release, a great team of modern music makers was enlisted to remix tracks from it: Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan-Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more all contributed to what is an essential collection. With a remix of ‘Sleepless’, a Pan-Pot track from their latest album, Stephan Bodzin closed the latest chapter of 2015 in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in his capable and creative hands.

Having been on the scene for over a decade, Wehbba has actually released a ridiculous amount of music. Labels like Tronic, 82 Recordings and Systematic have acted as a home for the artist but his forthcoming work on Padley's is some of our favourite to date.

The title track does the business but fellow Brazilian ANNA has served up the remix and it's more of the excellent same we've come to expect from the chart-topping producer. ANNA's seemingly got the golden touch and when she's not climbing the Beatport charts she's getting booked all over the world.

He does so in style with a splendid three track release. We're delighted to present you a snippet from the EP in the form of a full premiere of 'Mesoplodon' - this is an epic cut, a pulsating eight and a half minute trip along an underwater highway. SevenDoors fuses an upfront groove and soft melodic touches to great effect.

Right after having dropped „Connaisseur“, the epic collaboration with Olderic, on our 10 year anniversary release, Peter Pardeike now fnally presents his solo debut. Living in Cologne, Peter is mostly known for his collaborations with Marcus Worgull on Innervisions. His own musical infuences can easily be traced to his club socialization in the 90ies.

With the title “Love Supreme“, Peter Pardeike delivers a monster of a track, which we are sure you will not forget.When the remarkable vocoder choir comes in for the frst time, you will feel it reverberate though your entire body, making it stick in you mind forever. "Love Supreme“ will defnitely catch your full attention. The track's sequences inaugurate a dance in which they en- and detangle themselves with a dulcet triplet acid approach and an almost popish vocal loop repetition. "Nero“ on the fipside is a symphony of emotions. Don’t be fooled by the strong marching kick drum and its angular bassline, this track is as tender as swiss chocolate and as majestic as the house of Lannister. When I asked Jake and Ric which track they would like to remix their answer was really surprising to me and included a lesson in English. Jake said they couldn’t wait to put their grubby hands on “What’s The Lineup”, which is probably the second or third track I finished as Perfect Stranger, back in early 2005. To be completely honest I had to go look for a back up hard disc and listen to this track when they suggested, cause I didn’t fully remember how it went ( and at the same time to check in the dictionary to understand the meaning of “grubby” ). I was really grateful that they reminded me of this track and also that they kept a lot of musical ideas of the original in their own version without breaking them into bits. Really enjoy this old school vibe!

Collaborative pairings often throw up intriguing musical offerings and with the talents of GMJ & Tripswitch joining forces, they now debut on Particles with "Open Doors".

Globally renowned talents in their own rights, Gavin Griffin and Nick Brennan have been staples of the underground dance scene with their GMJ and Tripswitch monikers. GMJ's star has risen rapidly in recent times with the prolific Australian a regular on Balkan Connection, Vapour and Particles with his "deep rhythms and spatial textures". Similarly, Tripswitch has been a leading force within the UK electronica fraternity with his intricate and detailed production work seeing remixes for The Orb and Way Out West. Joining forces, "Open Doors" is redolent in Tripswich's stunning rhythmic sensibility and GMJ's ability to create wonderful melodic textures and melodies. Reverb and delay soaked sounds coruscate across the nine-minute voyage as vocal textures float across the mid-range. Muted pads pulsate across the stereo spectrum, subtly adding texture and infinite depth and the resultant work is an impressive expression of craft and skill.

Renowned DJ and producer, award-winning Greek artist, Kosmas Epsilon, has flourished in the underground dance scene. Passionate from an early age, a remix of FC Kahuna shot Kosmas to stardom with an appearance on James Holden's "Balance 005". Seeing his work allied to a plethora of imprints, Perspectives Digital, Mesmeric and Sudbeat have all featured the Kosmas sound, supported by Sasha, Digweed and Seaman. A series of production lit up the Particles catalogue in 2010 and 2011 and so it is with delight that we welcome Kosmas Epsilon back to the label with an innovative breaks interpretation of "Open Doors". Creating a strong groove-laden, broken beat shell, an intelligent reworking of the melodic and vocal themes central to the original, see Kosmas sculpt a new and vibrant remix that builds in momentum before erupting in the third movement. A reminder of halcyon days when progressive breaks ruled the airwaves, Kosmas Epsilon provides a magical touch.

A new name to the underground scene, German producer, Felix Wittich, is on a rapidly rising upwards trajectory. Making his debut for Dilate Records in October 2010, further work for Oleeva Records and Nie Wieder Schlafen in March 2017, showcased Wittich's undoubted talent. Moreover, it was the remix of Modulo's "Energy Patterns" for the latter that saw a first appearance on the "Visceral 051" compilation series. Now debuting on Particles, the Felix Wittich remix of "Open Doors" is a deep gem that sparkles with its pulsating deep house sound. A raft of additional production material sees an evolution of the melodic themes so central to the original as a stepped arpeggio sequence provides hypnotic joy, locked tightly to an intricate percussive framework and dominant kick. Reaching its zenith in the third movement with free-flowing counterpoint sequences, Wittich's innovative interpretation is a standout moment.

Walking through GMJ & Tripswitch's "Open Doors" has led to a path of success for Kosmas Epsilon and Felix Wittich.

Bringing on a fresh new vibe with his addition to the Hive Audio roster is Mirko Hensel, known and loved for being a part of the duo that is Channel X and rocking things sole under his Jiggler alias with releases on labels like Stil Vor Talent, Budenzauber and Katermukke amongst other. For his label debut he weighs in two original tracks plus an additional remix take that surely will be heard on dancefloors on a regular throughout this year for a reason.

Opening with "Serenity“ Jiggler presents a well-balanced menu of dark'ish, yet uplifting TechHouse based upon an overwhelming foundation of droning sawtooth bass paired with driving percussions and spiralling vintage modulations perfectly complementing siren'esque sounds and trancey, large scale breakdowns for a perfectly lift-off from a heaving and bubbling dancefloor.

With their remix for the title track we've got Danito & Athina on a more pounding, prime-time focused tip borderlining technoid areas whilst staying true to the originals bass heavy feel, adding spatial vibes, a mystical main motif and quite a few progressive elements to come up with an extremely powerful tool for the darkest late night hours out on the floor.

Finally "Ahead" sees Jiggler combine a masterly sculpted, precise bassdrum pump with a seductively rolling, slighty disco-infused bassline, topped by an ever moving, classy and super hypnotic Tech motif perfectly playing along the tunes warping atmospheres and thrilling out of space attitude inducing next level madness to each and everyone experiencing this one being blasted to a solid rig.

SEFF joins Jamie Jones’ Hottrax imprint bringing a moody single entitled ‘Needle To The Groove’ with a remix from Burnski’s new moniker, James Solace. 
 
After being handpicked by Steve Lawler in 2012 to become a VIVa Warriors resident, SEFF soon garnered fans in the upper echelons of house music with names like Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Dave Seaman, and Richy Ahmed getting behind him. His discography spans Hot Creations, VIVA, Lost Records and Sanity, and although his Mindmaze Music imprint has seen much success since 2013 this year saw SEFF launch Mirror Numbers; a new project consisting of a label, extended DJ sets, and radio shows on Pioneer DJ and Data Transmission. 
 
A rugged kick and tantalizing melodies sets the tone in ‘Needle To The Groove’ before pulsating synths emerge alongside a thumping sub-bass. On remix duties, Burnham follows up his debut release as James Solace 
on Callisto with a mesmerizing remix that contrasts to the original, integrating crunchy drums, ethereal vocals, expansive pads and hooky arpeggios.
