🪐 After a bold debut on @slinaslinaslina 's label, ultrascope puts the sub in sublime with "Extracelestial", a lyrical piece centered around atmosphere and emotion.

“Vapor Trail” reveals a nimble, invigorating rhythm, driven by detuned orchestral pads and unhurried arpeggios. Mumbled, warped vocals sound as if they were pulled from a dream. Shape-shifting, vibrating bass takes center stage on “Orgone”, and dances around densely packed drum patterns. There's something irresistible hidden between those beats–a pulsating, warm energy, drawing you in. "Peel Rubber" shifts up a gear, delivering the climax we crave with a furious pace and murky breaks, occasionally brightened by the bittersweet touch of shimmering synths. The ethereal quality is ever-present, blending airy textures with a light, speedy feel, reminiscent of trance records from the 2000s. Close your eyes, and the air feels slightly warmer. 🌫️✨🪐💫

Inferior Design, the moniker of Brussels-based artist Isaac Barbé, creates ambient music from his small bedroom studio on the top floor of a dilapidated office building. This is internet music to patch your soul.

Isaac’s debut album, …to be whole, takes us on a 40-minute journey through experimental sound design. Soft melodies gently guide us forward, while rubbery plucks and icy stabs keep us on edge. This is computer music at its purest: layers upon layers of processed samples and snippets, forming a beautiful collage. We hear arpeggios drift in and out, while gentle pads wash over rhythmic soundscapes.

…to be whole embodies the concept of MONTAGE: music that uses editing techniques to create a unique narrative. Different styles and genres collide, conflict, and merge in an inspiring sonic journey.
