Bio:
Danny Grunow was born in the year 1982 near the city Berlin, Germany. 
He first heard and fell in love with electronic dance music in the early 90's in the first renaissance of trance.
About this time DJs like Westbam, Dr. Motte and Paul van Dyk 
Were inspiring Danny to follow the music and began thinking about DJing through listening to those early European DJ sets.
It took Danny a few years to get some equipment and practiced every spare minute he had but in the middle of the year 2007 
He had realised his dream of being a DJ and started his own internet radio show called 'Electronic Impressions'.
Through these early shows he developed his style very quickly with a mixture of Trance and Progressive sounds.
Danny aspires to only get bigger and better with his radio shows and shows no sign of slowing down,
combined with new producing and remixing projects he looks to the future and the 'next episode' in dance music...

Progressive House Mini Mix Five Favorites 02 Feb 2024

It's safe to say that I have come out of retirement recently with a few gigs towards the end of last year and some more booked over the next few months. So I thought I would do a double promo mix. The first mix is a Progressive Mix to warm up. The second mix is a Trance Mix that starts mellow, builds to uplifting, then to gumsheild madness. This is also the first mix I have recorded on my new XDJ-RR, so I hope it sounds ok.

Crossfade Sounds presents the Whatever EP from The Open Circle and Angel Lebailly, a collaborative project that brings together two returning artists from the label's growing roster. The Belgian producer The Open Circle made his debut in 2024 with the Second Life EP, while German artist Angel Lebailly first appeared on our inaugural cassette release in early 2025.

Their joint effort features four dub techno compositions — We Are Astronauts, Lunar Eclipse (Dark Night Mix), Symbiosis, and The Journey Into the Mist. Each piece blends atmospheric depth with rhythmic restraint, where subtle motion and evolving textures invite the listener into a meditative sonic space.

With Whatever EP, The Open Circle and Angel Lebailly explore the introspective side of techno, crafting a collection that feels both immersive and timeless, perfectly aligned with the Crossfade Sounds aesthetic.
