Looney Moon Records was founded in 2008, drawing on a collective of promising and varied artists from the very first day.
Concerning the music, the two label heads DJ Phobos and DJ Fog manage to realize a refreshing independent underground style.
Based on a very sophisticated approach towards the production quality, Looney Moon stands for highly energetic, kicking bass sounds and catchy synthesizer riffs, escalating to twisted sound structures and uplifting breaks and finally joining all the musical forces again in an intelligent, harmonic and melodic groove.

One Records London based co-founder, Subb-an, continues a path along one of diligence, refinement, and exploration.

Vishal Unni is an electronic music producer & Dj from Bangalore, India.   

His sound can be described as a symbiosis of the deeper realms of techno, laced  with futuristic soundscapes and psychedelic characteristics.  

With releases on Qilla Records & Techgnosis Records, Vishal’s productions exhibit his melodic & minimal techno influences blended with a newfound inspiration for deep and hypnotic techno. 

  He’s been a Dj for close to a decade and having played at multiple of the country’s venues, his sets now showcase his diverse music collection, carefully curated and adaptive to the environment.  

Vishal is also the newly appointed A&R for India’s Qilla Records, and also works closely with Swedish psychedelic deep techno label, Hypnus Records, both of which have played a critical role in his sonic journey.  

Apart from this, he also works independently as an Electronic Music Production Tutor, working privately as well as with O3 Studio from Goa & Pluginmusic School in Netherlands.
