This is an old joint I wrote and recorded back in 2006. I had just moved to Atlanta and was grinding - waiting tables at a swank spot called Murphy's in Virginia-Highland. So naturally I started writing an EP called '86 Catch' that was a day in the life of the restaurant biz, juggling personal endeavors, an ex lady whom you love but cant get it together with, and all those youngins that I let waste my time back then....

All the beats were hooked up by my homie, Nikhil Jhatakia. He was my best friend from college, a younger cat. I introduced him to Paten Locke Nikhil ended up moving to his crib in Duval for a year and studying up. They even did some co-production work together on Mr. Lif's LP, 'I Heard it Today.' The beats I was rocking were from those sessions.
