Chicago multi-talent Lane Beckstrom continues the rollout towards his debut solo LP, 'Looking Out', with the third single, "Two Birds," featuring guest vocals from his former Kids These Days bandmate, Macie Stewart.

Best known to date for his prolific work as a bassist in groups like The Social Experiment (with Chance The Rapper & Nico Segal), Resavoir, The JuJu Exchange and Kids These Days, here Beckstrom continues to step forward as a solo artist, handling all of the vocals, bass, keys and drums on "Mineral" (with producer/engineer Paul Cherry assisting on guitar and some additional synths), a song which Lane describes as "a summer bop for anyone that knows they're in love forever."

At one point serving as the working title track to the album – "Daisies" is now batting clean-up on the roll-out towards Chicago multi-talent Lane Beckstrom's upcoming debut LP.  Fittingly, it also wound up being the closer song on the tracklist – a swirling summary of some of the varying styles and moods expressed throughout.

‘Boundless Pleasures’ feat. Jake Milliner is the new single by South African producer L E F, taken from his forthcoming album ‘Melodic Utopia’ (03.11.). On his second album for Melting Pot Music, he teamed up with Lofi heavy weight LESKY, upcoming Dutch producer Afroham, Greek producer Drips Zacheer, UK producer Jake Milliner and Italian jazz beat maestro Koralle. 

The dreamy free-floating sound of ‘Melodic Utopia’ stays away from all Lofi stereotypes and puts his melodic productions known from his previous album ‘Antidote’, released in 2022, on another level.

Dirg Gerner is a lover, a vulnerable observer, and an artist who’s managed to create an effective interface with an ever-accelerating world. He may appear mysterious and media-shy; but when it comes to vocalising, he’s a raw, uncut soul-element. Unintentionally off-grid and committed to his personal evolution, he is more of a soul- documentarian than a singer-songwriter.

The man is a natural born introvert. Over the years, his acute ability to hone in on the essence of things transformed into something of a super power – manifest through sound and poetry. This explains why this new body of songs is thick with nourishment. Lyrically, these songs channel the fundamentals: love and truth. Love remains supreme. Nature manifests the truth. And the search for balance within and without is forever a north star.
