Electric Sentinel

I started writing a lyric and didn't know where else to go with it - "I don't wanna live off a desert highway" and most of the first verse - I suppose some focus on isolation, limited recourses, then I watched Joe Rogan on Netflix (stand up) talking about these people that have elected to be the first travellers to Mars, going on to highlight that there's one very simple activity they could do that would change their minds forever - send them to the desert!  And as a result, I found myself making Mars the focal point. 


Ukuleles featured here, Clearwater Concert (High G) - composite back, solid spruce top - love this uke (quite cheap too), and a Kala U-Bass, in addition to a couple of extra sounds!

GLIMMERS OF HOPE

his project isn’t made for easy listening — it’s made for reflection. The sound is modern and at times upbeat, but at its core, it’s about message over music. It tells the story of a boy who left home and returned as a man, only to realize that the pain, struggles, and lessons he endured not only shaped him, but also revealed the chains his community still can’t break free from.

Across the album, I step into the role of both survivor and storyteller, aiming to be a voice of reason while pushing my pen to showcase lyrical ability that goes beyond the surface. This isn’t background music — it’s a journey through resilience, growth, and the weight of environment.

For fans of Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, JID, EarthGang, Tyler, The Creator, and Griselda — this project is about sharp lyricism, layered storytelling, and truth-telling through hip hop.
