After a heinous experiment goes amiss, KNOXZ with the help of The Voss and Glitch must escape the evil chaos as patients are now in control.

The 'Mental State EP' is a hard hitting and gruesome tale of neuro and classic techstep vibes with hardstep undertones. "Vicissitude" is a pure banger exploring the chaos that ignites the story while the title track, "Mental State" delivers the escape plan with it's pounding neuro sounds of lawlessness.

As we approach the 24th Century, It feels like a Millennia since The “Cells Interlinked” program was used on Earth 304’s bravest hero’s to infiltrate the Raid organism.

Life had become peaceful. The world had overgrown into what it once was in the 20th Century. A beautiful green planet.

The inhabitants of Earth had since created a new line of defence for the planet. No one gets in, No one gets out. But the world lives in peace.

A neuropunk-oscopic collider that spins in the earths orbit projecting a massive 50 million kilowatts of Neuro-Neuron energy into the earth's core to keep it spinning and a sphere of power known only as Profuze around its atmosphere. 

Was there a worry of this technology again becoming intelligent and taking over again? How do we know it hasn't?

Maybe this was the end game of the Raid all along and maybe this earth is now better without its human inhabitants as it is now run by the Half human half droids themselves who know nothing more than to run the Profuze collider for all of time until the end of time and space itself.

1/ Profuse- “Hold Up”

An atmospheric mix of drums and pads echo through the intro of our first track, with a trippy wave sound crashing against itself. with a build up crossing a gated vocal that snaps into the drop.

A shimmering, Cyberfunk-esque rollout entails with a snap to a stripped away drop section before “Hold Up” takes us fully into the next quarter of our track and onwards to a contrasting breakdown that is sure to send chills up and down your spine.

A huge roll up builds into our final drop that glitches in and out with effects and vocal samples layered with more drum patterns and Cyber synths to take us out.

2 Profuze- “Come On” 

We creep into the next track and as before we are treated to some great, trippy synth sounds that sound as creepy as intended.

The first drop is a crescendo of sounds filtered with a massive bass bonanza that drops us into some amazing driving beats and bass. 

Insectuous sounds buzz and fly around our ears through a huge drum roll out for the centre of our track right before we glitch and stutter into our drop which see’s a barrage of drums and Filthy bass sounds shoot out like crazy, smashing expectations and also brain cells.

3/ Profuse- “Don't Stop Me”

And finally we end the release with a massive favourite of the EP from our Peers. 

This one starts by bringing you right into Pole Position and into the driver's seat with sounds that can only be compared to an F1 racing car crossed with a Flying Blade Runner VTO Automobile.

“You Better Don't Stop Me” is shouted out as we reach our drop and more Bass lead synth work that would not sound out of place at SIlverstone in the year 2075

Nemesis Chapter 2

Word of this devastation reached the ears of Ean - Dragon Slayer, a legendary protector whose name echoed through the annals of the realm. Known for his unmatched courage and skill in battling mythical beasts, Ean was whispered to possess the strength of a thousand men and the determination of a lion.

Driven by a profound sense of duty, he embarked on a perilous quest to the capital, where the dragon's wrath had been most fiercely felt. As he ascended the treacherous slopes of Mount Bas, the sight that greeted him was one of utter devastation.

The once-magnificent city lay in ruins, its grandeur replaced by a haunting emptiness. Buildings crumbled, their vibrant colors faded to a dull gray. The streets, once filled with life and laughter, were now eerily silent, save for the mournful cries of those who had lost everything.

Undeterred, Ean pressed on, his heart heavy with sorrow but his resolve unwavering. He knew that Stregoi, the fearsome dragon, must be vanquished if the realm was to be saved from its tyrannical rule.

With a deep breath, Ean prepared himself for the ultimate battle, his sword gleaming in the fading light. The fate of the realm rested on his shoulders, and he was determined to emerge victorious, no matter the cost.

One thing that has truly pleased us as a label is not only welcoming new talented artists to the label but also working alongside who we consider our peers, some of the artists we grew up listening to in the honeymoon years for us of DNB and our all time favourites too.

Add to this a sprinkling of foreign exchange and being able to  work with talented artists / peers from across the globe and you have a very happy record label indeed.

If you have been living under a rock for the past 10+ years or so then you may not have come across the Puerto Rican born producer situated in the U.S of A.

We are very proud to announce our collaboration as a label and artist with none other than Diode. 

A vast catalogue of work has drenched the DNB world for quite some time now and it was only fitting we brought the artist to the attention of our labels followers as his direction pretty much lines up with ours and our ethos which is truly to cover the entire spectrum of Drum and bass.

We are very proud of this one and excited to collaborate for the future. as we introduce the Interruption EP.

1/ “Don't Interrupt Me”

A true favourite of ours this year and a track that has seen
some heavy exposure through some of the larger artists in DNB.

Starting off in Diodes signature Funk sounds and chords, we are quickly led into a remarkable build of audio sonics that place you on the edge of your seat.

Key changes and whirling rises lend themselves to the robotic voices which take a switch as we drop a Jungle Techno snippet before a nan slapping Neurofunk drop.

This one is relentless as we switch basslines and keys throughout until a crescendo of bass and beats.

2/ “Racing”

Foot on the peddle. Let's go. Vin Diesel would be proud of this one. as we welcome “Racing” into the Dirtbox family.

A slapper of A neurofunk drop with some awesome melodic swishes.

This one is a Virus-esque Chugger of grade A prime classic sounds accompanied by gated synths and up to date bass synthesis. 

An awesome one for the middle of the set at prime time.

3/ “In Silence” 

We close out the EP on a high note. A true one, Piano’s, sweeps and vocals propulse us into an epic percussive lead breakdown, Anthemic and beautiful this one ticks all the boxes.

A true, and beautiful way to end the EP with Diode flexing his production muscle and showing his range, Big time Interruption EP is out July 29th exclusively on Beatport & Spotify then everywhere else 2 weeks after
