For the past 2-3 years we have had our Dirtbox surveillance team out watching for any murmurs across the Drum & Bass scene. 

The technology used is so high tech, we were asked by Vin Diesel to borrow it for his Fast X movie.

After scouring every rave and Drum & bass archive we could, eventually a flashing beacon shone across our high tech screens.

We had found exactly what we were looking for A duo with a history of banging out pure dark rollers and party crashing classic Neurofunk.

That duo aptly named Rubio & Javi, otherwise known as the `Maniatics`

No stranger to releasing with only the best labels across our wonderful world of 170 bpm breaks and bass driven mayhem, the boys have produced some absolute classics over recent years on such labels as `High Resistance` `Neurofunk What Else?` and `Dub Elements Music` to name but a few 

Hailing from the beautiful country of Spain, these boys bring the noise and we are overjoyed to have them debut with us on Dirtbox.

“Maniatics- Better Time” 

A heavy and monstrous intro on this one. Peddle to the floor Neurofunk at its best.

An old, what can only be described as 1950s news report brings us to past the intro of this one into a relentless onslaught of drums and bass, No prisoners are taken throughout as we approach the breakdown, waving right back into action in no time. Theres no better time than during this beast of a tune.

“Maniatics- Fear of Falling”

We take a slightly different direction on this one, shooting rises throughout the intro and pads rolling into a crunchy roller of a track that uses all its space within the mixdown fluently to bring the heaviest sound possible, Don't fall over.
