A close friend of mine decided it was a good idea for him to end his life in October 2010. Over 100 of his friends disagreed. We recently held a memorial / celebration of his life. I was lucky enough to dj at the end of the night, using a selection of Jay's own music, music suggested by his friends and one or two surprises of my own.
I have tried to reflect Jason's multifacetedness through the mix, which covers Funk, Soul and Disco to Tech House and a smattering of Breaks for good measure. This is the result!
I hope you enjoy it and that it brings back happy memories for those who still miss Jason deeply... and always will!

Over the years we have had the pleasure to develop a friendship with Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation. 

As huge fans of the group, a collaboration to have them play at Robot Heart at Burning Man was always a dream, if an impossible one.

This year at Burning Man, just in time for the inaugural Heart & Soul sessions from Robot Heart and Thievery Corporation's 20th anniversary, we finally had the honor of hosting Thievery Corporation on the Playa.  Three years in the making, the product of serendipity, determination and a lot of team work, here is that amazing, unannounced sunset performance at the Robot Heart camp before an audience of thousands of burners. Thank you Dave Geller, Elliot Dunwoody, Pascal Pharmacon and the 18-person team from Thievery Corporation for helping make our collective dream come true!
