Leftfield have been at the cutting edge of dance music since the 1990s, releasing albums that have become some of the most influential electronic records of all time around the world with their debut LP Leftism being widely regarded as one of the most boundary-pushing electronic LPs ever released.

Originally comprised of Neil Barnes and Paul Daley, in 2010 Barnes reignited the Leftfield name, and went on to release an acclaimed new album (Alternative Light Source) touring the world with the full live band, with a string of sold out shows.

Neil has also been cementing his reputation as a top-tier DJ and record collector unleashing modern dance floor weapons, selling out clubs / venues, headlining festivals and creating some amazing nights with his sets. Leftfield is a name synonymous with quality and Leftfield DJ Sets are exactly that, allowing Neil the chance to show the depth of his musical knowledge and select the best tracks to take you on a journey.

What's been described as "a trumpet player trapped in a two dimensional universe" is in fact the unique work of Lucas Abela aka Justice Yeldham, a maverick musician with an unhealthy obsession with sheets of broken glass. In his now infamous show which has astonished and bemused countless people in over 45 countries, Abela ecstatically purses his lips against panes of amplified glass whilst deftly employing various vocal techniques ranging from throat singing to raspberries, to turn the discarded shards into crude musical instruments. The results are a wild array of oddly controlled cacophonous noise teetering on the edge of music. This one of a kind act re-defines the expression 'don't try this at home' and quite simply needs to be witnessed to be fully appreciated, let alone understood.

Gail Priest is a Sydney-based sound artist. Her practice involves sound design/composition for performance, installation and live laptop-based exploratory music. She is also a curator, writer and commentator on sound and media arts.

Her compositions exist in a liminal zone between song and soundscape. She is interested in exploring the timbre of the voice when filtered and effected—finding the point when it loses its ‘grain.’ She is similarly interested in the transformation of field recordings into new rhythmic and melodic material. It’s a continuing exploration of the relationship between the machinic and organic, the figurative and the abstract.

She has released 4 albums on her own label Metal Bitch, as well as releases on Endgame Records and Flaming Pines.
