Munky Fike (@dj-funky-mike) first came to our attention only recently with his excellent single on @villesetfleurs for which we hosted the Soundcloud Premier. It's hard to overstate the impact this man and his label BBE have on our scene. Is it 25 years already? So many incredible moments that influenced generations of DJ's and music lovers. Pewrsonally I would have to cite the Strange Games and Funky Things series featuring legends DJ Spinna, Kenny Dope and Mr Thing. Jazzy Jeff's Hip Hop forever. Dimitri From Paris with several entries absolutly knocking the art of editing and remixing disco classics out of the park. Dilla's solo effort Welcome To Detroit (Thats just been re-released as a tasty 7" bundle). Kon and Amir's visionary Off Track series.... all of these have been game changing in their own rights but only make about 1% of the output of BBE. 
Obviously Pete has more dimensions to him than "just" A&Ring one of the most legendary labels there is but let's stick to the music and follow him on this week's journey as he kindly has contributed the latest addition to the series. Thank you and enjoy!
