After successfully participating in a PXD Musicsoftware competition, I gained my first experiences with composing and arranging electronic music in the late 90s. But then I concentrated on playing the bass in various bands from different musical genres. At the same time, I started my electronic-metal-solo-project BLUTWURST BREATH (1999 - 2010), which was featured on numerous samplers (https://blutwurstbreath.bandcamp.com). In 2011 it was succeeded by the new, more focused electronic-grindcore-project TUNNELBOHRER (https://tunnelbohrer.bandcamp.com), which is still active today. In autumn 2021, my bands, in which I had been working as a bassist since 2006, unfortunately broke up. This was the occasion to revive my old passion for electronic music: KASTROPODUX was born. KASTROPODUX is devoted to the synthwave-sound of the 80s and the techno-style of the early 90s, sometimes combined with rock-guitars.

Ace of Haze was born from a brain wired through Heavy Metal, Liquid Television, and late-night cable chaos. It’s a tripped-out animated saga that blends music, weed culture, and old-school underground style. Each short hits like a music video from the dark side of the smoke cloud.

Ace was just a clerk at Dubious Dispensary & Head Shop until Dr. Max Dubious’ experiment blew sky-high. Now he’s charged with smoke-fueled powers, chasing down freaks, hustlers, and mutants through neon alleys and skunky backrooms. Expect distorted guitars, weird science, weed jokes, and stoner philosophy — all baked into a loud, glowing universe that refuses to behave.

"Roses" is the first song taken from the forthcoming debut album that the band is currently recording.

Uwe war ein einzigartiger Typ. Er lebte in einer kleinen Wohnung im Herzen von Berlin und hatte zwei große Leidenschaften: 🥦und Techno. Jeder, der Uwe kannte, wusste, dass seine Wochenenden eine exzessive Mischung aus basslastigen Beats und dicken Rauchwolken waren.

Eines Samstags, nachdem er seinen Lieblings-Joint gedreht hatte, beschloss Uwe, dass es Zeit für ein neues Abenteuer war. Er hatte von einem geheimen Techno-Rave gehört, der tief im Wald stattfand. Der perfekte Ort, um seine beiden Leidenschaften zu kombinieren. Also schnappte er sich seine Bong, zog sein schrillstes Neon-Outfit an und machte sich auf den Weg.

Als Uwe im Wald ankam, fand er eine bunte Menge von Rave-Enthusiasten, die bereits zu den treibenden Rhythmen tanzten. Die DJs drehten die Platten, und die Lichtshow war so intensiv, dass es fast so aussah, als ob die Bäume selbst tanzen würden. Uwe war begeistert. Er setzte sich auf einen Baumstumpf, zündete seinen Joint an und inhalierte tief.

Plötzlich erschien ein kleines Eichhörnchen vor ihm. Uwe, der in diesem Moment von einer besonders intensiven Welle der Entspannung übermannt wurde, starrte das Eichhörnchen an und fragte: „Hey kleiner Freund, willst du auch mal probieren?“

Zur Überraschung aller nahm das Eichhörnchen den Joint mit seinen kleinen Pfoten und zog einen kräftigen Zug. Dann begann es, im Takt der Musik zu tanzen, als ob es schon immer ein Raver gewesen wäre. Die Menge jubelte, und das Eichhörnchen wurde schnell zum Star des Abends. Es war der beste Tänzer auf dem gesamten Rave!

Am nächsten Morgen wachte Uwe auf einer Waldlichtung auf, umgeben von leeren Wasserflaschen, leuchtenden Armbändern und schlafenden Rave-Besuchern. Das Eichhörnchen saß immer noch neben ihm und hielt den Rest des Joints. Uwe grinste breit und sagte: „Das war die beste Nacht meines Lebens.“

Von diesem Tag an hatte Uwe immer einen kleinen Vorrat an Haselnüssen dabei, wenn er zu Raves ging. Schließlich wollte er seinen neuen Freund nie enttäuschen. Und das Eichhörnchen? Es wurde zur Legende in der Berliner Techno-Szene, bekannt als DJ Nussknacker.

Und so lebte Uwe glücklich weiter, immer mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen und einem Beat im Herzen, während er die perfekte Balance zwischen🥦 und Techno fand.Alle Mixe sind spontan, nie geplant.

SoundCloud is still Aaaaaamazing. We can weed out the messers and with a small web of genuine artists it is incredibly inspiring. Don't lose faith in your art because of the influx of fake, we need artists to shine through and continue saving and evolving artistic work and freedom. Just keep shining your real music. I have seen NOTHING yet that challenges a real artists creativity from AI or it's prompters. If anything it just confirms the path I took was worth it and is the only way to the full therapeutical effect music and writing can deliver your being!

You just need to PRACTICE a lot!
