"Aus der Asche (From the Ashes)" is my first song about the experience of narcissism.
It is not born from hate, but from survival and transformation — about reclaiming your strength and discovering that love is still possible after silence and pain.

This piece is based on my own words and voice experiments, brought into shape through collaboration.
I hope it resonates with anyone who has walked through fire and found their way back to light.

You fed on mirrors,
while I gave my skin.
I poured my heart into silence,
still hoping love would win.
I lost myself in shadows,
chasing a broken flame,
but even in the ruins
I never lost my name.

I thought love meant surrender,
I thought pain could be healed with more pain.
But the ashes whispered stronger truths:
I will rise again.

From the ashes,
I return to my own fire.
Not broken, but burning
with a clearer desire.
I learned to love deeper,
I learned to love true,
and the first heart I honor
is the one that beats in me too.

but my soul survived the night.
