New mysterious, stripped-back electronic imprint The Night Wood launch with a woozy, minimal two-tracker from Berlin expats Alex & Digby. Having helmed material on their own experiential Flash As A Rat imprint, this debut excursion away from their own label roost sees them melding tinkering, organic electronics to clean, thumping low-end melodies.

With a scatter-gun playfulness and machinic whinings addorning the background, 'Crowhurst' gives way to ethereal vocal whispers and seductive leerings, whilst the flip sees 'Doris' bound and leap forward on the back of an enigmatic live bassline, topped off with a light, Japanese electronics-esque sine pad fill that haunts as much as it entices.
