Munich based DJ and producer nicolas has been spinning records with a deep passion for smooth grooves for over a decade. Always focused on quality sound, he has developed into an audiophile listener, collector and presenter. His deeply personal and unique collection allows him to take in the vibe and connect with the crowd in his own way. Constantly developing his approach to music, he manages to always stay true to himself and his unique taste - a combination of timeless music and contemporary minimal pieces. nicolas’ debut EP moscot, released on WHATNOWBECOMES, is the first release under his new alias. Previously known as nihko, he held residencies at Club Autonomica and Rote Sonne in Munich. During this period, labels such as Visionquest, Suruba, RFR and many more, gave him a fitting platform to release his driving sound.

I had the pleasure of digging through Omar Fayyad's vinyl collection and mixing them through his lovely E&S DJR-400 Mixer & a pair of Technics setup, which we decided to record. The result is a mix of pure house joy mixed with other related genres.

Discobar re-launches in search of other galaxies with its second outing from Toulouse- based duo Zendid.
They take us on three voyages through the minimal-infused house grooves they made their name with, while still finding time to bring in Mayaan Nidaam for a remix. 'Space' has us seeing stars right from the start, with an alien menagerie conversing over a strict-form beat. The bassline on 'Virgin Virgin' is big enough to give you butterflies, tempered by stellar synths and wordless vocal clips.
'Berlin 6' takes the bass for a lighter walk and finally, Mayaan Nidam remixes 'Space' into a nebulous and reflective place, pads breaking through the thick atmosphere mid-track for a moment of zero gravity meditation.
