These are the first 2.5 hours of my DJ set at Disco Bizarre / KitKatClub. Starting at prime time with the pressure to keep the crowd going still feels like a challenge, but after a little while, I fell in love with the music. And I promise—I will get used to CDJs instead of turntables. ;) And of course - the photo was taken on location!

"This mix was put together from the Italo-disco records that I enjoy playing the most in my DJ sets, regardless of value/rarity. I also tried to choose tracks with a summer feeling to them. As a result I had a lot of fun making this mix, as opposed to the clinical feeling that sometimes happens when trying to perfect a studio mix. 

One of my favorite travel memories is hunting for Italo-disco records in the crazy Italian summer heat and cooling down with amazing gelato some years ago in Firenze - hopefully the listener can feel a bit of that." George Hysteric
