Under the monikers of 303 Pedro and Intrinsik Groove, I’ve been trying to get people moving on dance floors across Continental Europe and the UK, both in person and online through Global Broadcasts. To date, I’ve had the pleasure of performing at some notable venues and platforms, including: Blue Room | Decadence Radio | Saturo Sounds and Pacha.

As 2025 approaches, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be performing at the Thantawan Festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in January. I’m also working on other exciting events that I can’t reveal just yet. Stay tuned for more updates!

In terms of genres, I specialise in breakbeat, progressive house and techno.

Displaying a unique style of lush and dramatic dance music stretching from the deeper sounds of organic house to the harder hitting club shakers of progressive, Discognition sets himself apart from the crowd in many ways. In the early days of his career, Discognition captivated many listeners in the niche genre of melodic progressive house with his balearic, jazz inspired tunes, and quickly made a name for himself.

Making his way into more conventional styles of music, Discognition has since carved his own path forward with his self-released track “Backroom” hitting the #1 spot on Beatport’s Progressive House Release Charts followed by another Top 10 release just a month later, showing a strong community of supporters in the first quarter of 2023. Successful outings on established labels like Monstercat Silk, AVA Deep, Positronic and Purified Records round out his presence in the industry. As a passionate individual, his stylistic ‘voice’ evokes deep emotion in anyone listening, solidifying a feeling that makes you know instantly when one of his tracks is playing.

Leveraging momentum from those chart topping releases, Discognition has seen a massive rise in global support, hitting the 750,000 mark in total streams on Spotify alone in just a couple years. There’s no sign of his momentum slowing down as some of the industry's top curators are taking notice, being named a Top 50 Artist to Watch in 2023 by Magnetic Magazine. After a guest mix on Jaytech’s podcast, DJ support on the Colorize: Colorscapes tour, and an invite to Nora En Pure’s Purified showcase in Denver, it’s clear that Discognition is poised to become a new favorite going into the next chapter of his journey. Any successful music career begins with an artist providing a fresh and unique perspective on tried and true ingredients from the past. Christian Gómez A.K.A Ëkc (Pronunciación Original í-kei-ci) Nació el 2 de agosto de 1991. Dj de la ciudad de Bogotá. Influenciado directamente por los clásicos sonidos de In Search Of Sunrise (Tiësto Album) jugando con sonidos progresivos, melódicos y vocales, usando géneros como Progressive House y Trance, componiendo así historias a través de sus sets. 
Ëkc inició en 2009 su carrera como empírico, experimentando en la computadora y buscando su propio sonido, y es aquí luego de un tiempo que inicia su proyecto en internet “Magik Journey”, a mediados de 2011 se transmite en la cuenta gratuita Listen2myradio donde gran cantidad de oyentes se unen al proyecto, Argentina y México son los primeros países que le abren las puertas y dan un visto muy bueno de su música, selección, curva etc…

En 2012 ingresa a “Templo Dj Music Store”, siendo una de sus mayores metas como artista y es aquí donde conoce a Francisco Guerrero A.K.A Paul Lennar quien le brinda su apoyo, tanto en el campo de producción, técnica Dj y otros proyectos.
Su campo ha sido el internet, siendo Guest Mixer en varios programas internacionales entre ellos: Trancelucid con Gabrielle Ag (México), Transcendental Radioshow con David Saints (España), A Dream In Trance With Michele Cecchi (México), Colombia en Trance conducido por Dave Caro (Colombia), Atomik Channel (Dj Sin Fronteras) with Dj Atom, Harmonic Phase (Colombia) y Oniro’s Trance By Edibiza (Colombia).

En la escena local ha participado en algunos eventos, compartiendo escenario junto a djs como Nicolás Agudelo, Jimmy Vega, Fher Agner, Roger Z y Danny K, entre ellos el Contest de Beatcrusher en “LaClandes Club” (2012) Final Sessions “DC SHOTS” (2012), Blood Poisoning “DC SHOTS” (2013) y Frequency (EnBoga Club) (2013).
Hoy en día está dando sus primeros pasos en la producción, con mashups y un tema propio titulado “Passion Dans Ma Vie” y "Fused hearts". Trabaja constantemente en sus proyectos personales como lo es su radioshow “Magik Journey” que se transmite todos los domingos 7pm a 8pm /Colombia por www.electroemite.fm, sus “Magik Podcast” Un set mensual con lo mejor de su repertorio de libre descarga (Uno de sus mayores logros y carta de presentación, pues han sido sets que el público ha recibido con mucho agrado), “The Annual Compilations” hasta el momento con dos entregas (2011 y 2012) hace un homenaje a las mejores canciones del año en el campo del Trance & Progressive y por ultimo “A Tribute To My dad (ATTMD)” un tributo a “Tiësto” con tracks que hicieron historia en la escena electrónica mundial, un regalo para los fans del mundo y el artista mismo.
En sus metas esta en dar a conocer su trabajo a nivel global, su amor, su más grande pasión, con tolerancia y mucho respeto aportar algo especial a la escena electrónica, apoyar artistas y ser un referente artístico.
