The Time Capsule EP is a collaborative release from one of our favourite artists, Kay-Chi, alongside his trusted friend and creative ally, Keymon. The pair deliver a powerful two-track journey that captures their artistic synergy and shared vision. 

The opening track, Time Capsule, is a dark and driving masterpiece designed to ignite any dance floor. With atmospheric textures, it’s as hypnotic as it is energizing—setting the tone for this compelling release. 

On the second track, Untold Truth, Kay-Chi teams up with Frank Brady for a remarkable collaboration. This track seamlessly blends their styles, resulting in hauntingly intense melodies and a deep, driving bassline that leaves a lasting impression. 

Adding further depth to the release are two stunning remixes from exciting new artists on the label. Vladsylav Putistin delivers a punchy, club-ready reimagining of Time Capsule, while Alberto Melloni makes his debut with a captivating interpretation of Untold Truth, bringing his distinctive style to the label for the first time.

We start a new year by welcoming for the first time Mexican duo Damo Mementto teaming up with Anna Forest.
Combining indie dance and electronic rock, ‘Futturo Desconocido’ is nostalgic and, as the name suggests, ‘futuristic’, taking the audience on a deep and cosmic adventure.
The original is a collaboration with producer Anna Forest and has been remixed with two of the monster names in indie dance, Damon Jee and Rigopolar.

The track gets off to a strong start with a psychedelic base intertwined with hypnotic synths and distorted guitar riffs merging perfectly with Anna Forest’s poetic and evocative Vocals. Blending romanticism, cosmic imagery, and spiritual empowerment, leading the audience to a mesmerizing drop


Damon Jee raises the tempo with his version of Futturo Desconocido, keeping the vocals but bringing in the drums and reworking the original into a dark, dancefloor-oriented work, with convoluted arpeggios and echoing vocals in a unique remake of the original. 

Born in Mexico but based in New York, Rigopolar's mental remix of Futturo Desconocido will take you on a magical journey through time and space with its shimmering, arpeggiated synths, while the deeper cowbells will have you tapping your feet.

Abhishek Chanda, revered as Synths Back, is a DJ and electronic music producer whose origins lie in the secluded Andaman Islands. Synths Back is an alchemist of sound, deftly blending the nostalgic resonance of vintage synthesizers, the pulsating allure of Italo Disco, and the primordial cadence of Afro-inspired rhythms into a singular auditory experience that defies the limitations of genre.
The year 2018 heralded a transformative epoch in Synths sonic journey with the release of his seminal single, "Luna." This composition was a sonic odyssey that crystallized his artistic vision and unveiled a unique auditory lexicon to the world. "Luna" serves as a celestial map, guiding listeners through a cosmos where analog warmth meets the kinetic energy of dance floors, and ancient rhythms coalesce with the digital future.
In 2021, Synths achieved a significant breakthrough with the release of his downtempo EP, Kioku, on the esteemed Krunk Kulture label. This work resonated deeply within the electronic music community, garnering critical acclaim from influential publications such as Mixmag, Rolling Stone, and Official Humans of Music. The EP not only amplified his visibility but also firmly established his presence as a formidable force within the contemporary music scene.
Beyond the confines of the studio, Synths has brought his sonic vision to life on stage at prominent events, including India Cocktail Week in 2022 and Gin Sling in 2020. Abhishek is deeply committed not only to refining his own artistic voice but also to fostering the next generation of musical talent. His dedication to teaching aspiring DJs and producers is driven by a desire to impart the cultural and aesthetic intricacies of his unique musical style, ensuring that his legacy endures through those he mentors.
Synths Back journey is further enriched by the diverse array of artists with whom he has shared the stage. His collaborations and performances alongside luminaries such as Jitwam (The Jazz Diaries & ROYA), Horse Meat Disco (Z Records), Henry Wu, Maribou State, LIFAFA, Mo Black, FDVM, Chancha Via Circuito (ZZK Records), Thee J Johanz (Ballyhoo Records), Pablo Valentino (MCDE & Faces Records), and French Toast, among others, highlight the eclectic influences that have shaped his sonic narrative. Australian artist Sam In Space makes his debut on Roam Recordings with an EP full of high-octane dance floor anthems. Kicking things off is Late Night Conversations, a track brimming with electrifying energy, driving rhythms, and a vocal that builds to a powerful crescendo. The title track, Mind Machine, keeps the momentum going, delivering a massive club hit that's sure to keep the energy pumping.
Adding to the release are two incredible remixes from Roam Recordings alumni Colossio and Mijo. The first EP - Chomp! Chomp! presents the debut of Golden Mammals - a collaboration between Eric from America and Chittom. Eric is a multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer with a unique style that pulls from a variety of genres. He is also an active drummer for TV Baby (with members of A.R.E. Weapons), as well as several other bands in New York and past projects in Hawaii.

The EP has three original tracks and a remix. "An Hour a Day with You” blends acid house and techno with an obscure leftfield vocal by Chittom. The remix is a dubby techno slow-burner that will work in a variety of settings. On the other side, with two tracks by Eric from America, "At the Met Gala" & "For the Crowd” are two groovy techno-ish tracks with Eric’s unique touches - both are dancefloor and living room friendly. The EP is mixed by Justin Van Der Volgen and Kenji Shimoda, mastered by Rick Essig of REM Sound. Artwork by Dusty Gibbons.
