Eyes Dice is a DJ, photographer, music journalist, co-founder of the KEYI Magazine platform which connects fashion-music and art in one place, and co-founder of Dark Disco.org label. Head of creative agency www.keyi.eu. Based in Berlin. Playing fast-forward techno and electro trip with the pinch of ebm energy, originally from Poland but spent 5 years in Asia playing in clubs like Dada Beijing, Oil Shenzhen and Saferoom Bangkok or Vinylhouse Shenzhen. Recently played a variety of gigs across South America in Chile, Peru, Costa Rica or Columbia. He also played in legendary Berlin locations like Sameheads, Dream Baby Dream where he hosts events from time to time. Recently played in Urban Spree, Kitkat and had his debut in Kantine am Berghain.

This week on Topshelf we're delighted to have with us Colombian Italo/Dark Disco DJ/Producer Galope Messier.

With his original discography beginning within it's last 12 months, Galope Messier's debut releases 'Onda Corrosiva', 'Lumbre Apasionada' and 'Stellar Guidance' have been a breathe of fresh air, carving there way somewhere in-between Italo and Dark Disco with a touch of Dark Wave and Acid.
We're extremely excited to see what this young artist has in store with future releases and with him already showcasing a fine ability to pull from a multitude of genres, we're sure his music will continue to deliver. 
So now with an 80's infused master mix, further demonstrating his wonderful ability to blend genres, here's Topshelf 0109 with Galope Messier. Enjoy.

Jakob Mäder is a Stuttgart-based DJ and producer who also performs live. His musical interest spans across different genres: ambient, disco, house, acid, and sometimes even Techno-inspired music.

Together with his crew Midnight Service, he organises events with artists such as Johannes Albert, Philipp Schultheis, and Panthera Krause, just to name a few.

Ranging from reduced Ambient to classic House-inspired Deep House or experimental breakbeat productions, his output as a producer reflects his eclectic taste as a DJ. Besides crafting his very own tracks, cheerful Disco tracks result from his artistic work every now and then.

Hypercolour round off a busy year that has seen recent releases from the likes of Kerrier District, Gary Gritness, Roman Flugel, DMX Krew and Outboxx.  And in their 10th anniversary year, the label close 2016 with the heavyweight pairing of Mathew Jonson & Sebastian Mullaert.

Two summers ago, with no distinctive aims or deadlines, Jonson was invited to come and work with Mullaert and stayed for 5 days in the exceptionally beautiful surroundings of one of Sweden's National Parks. Inspiring a creative process far-removed from the harsh and harried pace of urban life; freedom to jam, play around and most importantly, reconnect with nature and the natural flow of ideas while deep in the forest, allowed their collective visions, directions and feelings to comfortably unwind. 
 
As Mullaert puts it "the freeing up of space and time allows an artist to rediscover him or herself. Frames can't be too rigid, static detail hinders the process to unfold in a beautiful way". Engaging mostly in ambientic-style sessions 'Pollen 4 Life' was made on a day the mood took them in the direction of the dance floor. True to form and still escaping any kind of prescribed formula, the music embodies this fluid, evolving journey and a sense of losing yourself...
 
Both long-time figureheads of electronic music, Mathew Jonson (one third of Cobblestone Jazz) and Sebastian Mullaert (one half of techno duo Minilogue) have been collaborators and an inspiration to each other for over a decade, first with releases on Jonson's label Wagon Repair and most recently as live trio Mathew Jonson vs. Minilogue, which only stopped touring last year. Originally meeting at the fabled Labyrinth festival in Japan 2005, Mullaert explains "our paths have crossed in different ways and now it's time for an EP together; the fruit of Mathew's visit to Röstånga. Pollen 4 Life".

Franz is the head of Slow Motion, an Italian dance label based in Berlin, he has releases on World Unknown, Tusk Wax and Bordello a Parigi and with his side project Studio Luce on Cocktail d´Amore Music. Franz also established many events around the german capital such as the Wrong Era, Bar Noir or Discoteca Paradiso parties, New Dance Fantasy or Magic Waves Festival. Beside long time collaboration with Sameheads he is regular at Griessmuhle and Salon zur Wilden Renate.
