Nel 2022 ha intrapreso il suo progetto editoriale 
e musicale di etnomusicologia e sperimentazione 
con il nome Baldovino.
Dalla scena napoletana anni ‘80 alla world music, 
dall’italo-disco alla house music, passando per la disco 
e il funk, i suoi spettacoli sono imprevedibili 
e variegati.

Un divertimento vocal-elettronico di Økapi 

Rima Glottidis è l’apertura tra le corde vocali e una cartilagine della laringe. In quel piccolo spazio è contenuto l’universo delle nostre esperienze sonore, da quelle fonetiche minime a quelle verbali. Nascono lì e, attraversando poi anche altre parti del corpo, escono da noi e ci individuano.

Bruno Maderna sosteneva che dietro a una “A” pronunciata si nasconde una complessa genesi sonora di centinaia e centinaia di frequenze difficilmente replicabili se non attraverso lo stesso paio di corde vocali. Sono consapevole che le tecnologie contemporanee stupirebbero anche Maderna. Non ho però lavorato con questa intenzione. 

Rima Glottidis è un divertimento musicale che gioca con parole e frasi che ho raccolto e ritagliato da antichi vinili di apprendimento della cosiddetta corretta dizione. Errori di pronuncia dialettale o disturbi fonatori. Errori? Qualcuno li potrebbe definire così. Per il musicista, sono suoni. Solo bei suoni.

We have a very special guest for this weeks podcast reigning all the way from Montreal. This Coldwave/ Leftfield queen divines her style by her feverish sequences and heavy rhythms laced with some killer vocals. 
In 2014 we have come to know her here in Europe for the 'Le Mal Nécessaire' tour which just released then. Following up by expanding her sound in the dark electronic direction with the 7 inch 'Sillage & Caprice' in 2015 and the LP 'Fugitive' in 2016. Last year her love for EBM became very clear again in her collaboration EP with Sarin: 'Collision'.
This year she is touring Europe again for her new album 'Plein Nord' starting in Berlin the 11th of May so be sure to check that out when you are in the neighbourhood.
