“Forever in the Stars” is about love that outlives everything — even time itself. It’s about those we’ve lost, the ones we can’t hold anymore, but still feel every night when we look up. It’s for the people whose presence you can still sense in silence, whose memory burns like starlight that never fades.

Writing this song felt like a conversation between worlds — between heaven and earth, between what was and what still is. It’s that unbreakable connection that distance, death, or fate can never take away. The love that remains, shimmering quietly above us.

For me, it’s a healing song — a reminder that nothing beautiful is ever truly gone. It just shines in a different way… forever in the stars.

Forever in the Stars.

Nature is, in so many ways, a genius artist. From my point of view, the sky is one of its most amazing masterpiece! It becomes painting, literature and music all together and touches each of us in a different, always powerful, way. 

Turning the head up at the sky, by a clear night, being astonished by the beauty of the stars and feeling giddy by their quantity. Looking heavenward, at night, if possible from a peaceful, quiet and dark place, is a pleasure I think I will never get tired of. From balcony before heading bed or getting out of a tent early morning before climbing a summit, there is always something magic about this celestial roof. Watching the stars... It’s fascinating, it’s our roots and our future, it’s infinity and more you think about it, more huge, inspiring and terrifying this becomes. It’s simple, obvious, there since ever and simultaneously so vast, complex and in permanent transformation

My version of a night sky full of stars is mixing a traditional mandolin with an electronic background, the cover picture is from MaKo and my thoughts are put in words by Alihossi.

DisKatch is a Seattle-based electronic music producer and songwriter with a lifelong connection to sound. The journey began at age 5, playing piano by ear, and by 11, he was recording his first single in a professional studio. At 15, he began diving deeper into music production with one of his first workstations — the Roland D-20 — where a lasting love for electronic music took shape.

With over 30 years of experience in producing, writing, mixing, and mastering, DisKatch has crafted original music across diverse projects and worked with notable vocalists. 

He’s won awards for his music dating back to junior high, with recent recognition including finalist placements in the 2024 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, the International Songwriting Competition, and the 2025 USA Songwriting Competition

Blending emotion, melody, and electronic textures, DisKatch creates music grounded in nostalgia and shaped by years of creative growth that have enriched his musical evolution.
