Here we go with Awk Cast no. 45, with a mix that aptly reminds us that the time has come to dust off your dancing shoes and embrace spring in the long missed comfort of a sweaty club. Amsterdam native and Berlin based artist @murieldb does brilliantly in telling us just that with this stunning effort, smoothly taking the reigns over our series with her dubbed out and playful selections. Lots of influences come together in these 90 minutes that are eclectic and colourful to fully engage all our senses while similarly relaxed and cool enough to want us keep on grooving forever.

for the second iteration of our You Mean So Much CAST series, we have Jelle (From The Block) @jellefromtheblock who opened the floor at the very first party we had back in april 2022.
"When I recorded this set, I wanted to create something that would capture what a night out at You Mean So Much would sound to me. A musical journey starting off slow & easy-going, like when the first people start to enter the club. As the dancefloor begins to fill up, the music gradually builds up in energy as well. You would hear a nice mix of disco & house tracks throughout the night, some familiar & some unknown. You would dance with a crowd of music lovers & people just there for a good night out. I have very fond memories playing at the first edition & going there myself several times. I really enjoyed trying to translate these memories into this mix."

third CAST & we have a really summer-y set recorded by the one & only Eclectic Elektra @eclectic_elektra. we had her setting the vibes at our party back in march 2023. she now co-runs a party (named Cosmic Circuit) mirroring the energy & blend of genres/styles she loves to display during her live sets.

In Germany and other Northern European cultures April 30 is traditionally known as Walpurgis Night, a celebration of Spring in which revelers dress up as witches and demons, dance, play loud music, and set off fireworks, which is said to drive the bad winter spirits away.

Broadly speaking, this is where we get the tradition of the Tanz in den Mai or “dance into May”.

This year on Walpurgisnacht, Diskotek and @bulbulberlin teamed up to celebrate the official return of Berlin summer with a night of house and disco grooves. Thank you to guests Babxi and Waves of Pleasure for joining Diskotek residents Blachord and Papa Hase to keep us all moving.
