Josip Katic aka ΛVΛTΛR J is a DJ/Producer currently residing in Rotterdam. As with many of us in the Electro community, at a young age, he was fascinated with breakdance and Hip Hop culture. During his adolescent years he shifted his interest to House and Techno. Now 15 years after the start of his initial love for Hip Hop, he is back to his roots playing Breakbeat and Electro. He spends time as an organizer of local events and producing new Electro material for future live performances.

 Which artists has influenced you the most?

- Gesaffelstein, The Hacker, Djdjotronic, The Exaltics, Defekt, Assembler Code, Dagga, kuldaboli, Ctkidobo, and manny others (the list is huge hah).

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?

- I can't tell so much sorry, I can tell you maybe one or two VA is coming and maybe two Ep also.

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?

- Zone Records, International chrome, Avoidant, Cpu records and others seem like a great places.

What inspires you now to create music?

- I listen to music, watch videos like mastersclass, tutorials, lives, I go to see live acts.

What set-up do you use when creating music?

- I just have great monitors, a sound card from a midi controller and my laptop, I have  an Akai apc40 but I don't use for now.

@dvsnme is an Electro music producer/deejay and Post-Punk enthusiast living in Colorado. He runs a daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' which features news, live sets, guest mixes, upcoming shows, and throwbacks, as well as a weekly podcast that publishes every Friday on Soundcloud. The weekly radio show has aired since 2010 and was previously broadcasted on Illegal Connection Radio, Buenos Aires Sound System, and Intergalactic FM every Friday at 20:00 GMT.

He is also an accomplished and prolific Electro music producer. With production techniques ranging from software to hardware and everything in between, and spanning a multitude of genres, he has been producing music since 2000. He has collaborated with the likes of Franck Kartell, Das Muster, MetaComplex, Koova, Faceless Mind, Komarken Electronics, Deemphasis, and more.
