On our third (but posted second) in the Dissentient lineup is Fredrik Westerdahl who hails from Malmö, Sweden under his performing name Megatech.  Fredrik was introduced to me by a trusted techno friend and equally talented musician, Viscerale, who had toured through my hometown of Philadelphia and left us in utter ruin after her set in March.   After bothering her about this and that track I came to realize I was asking about Fredrik quite a bit without knowing. After finding him on SoundCloud and reaching out I quickly went to work to find out just a little more about Fredrik and his incredibly spacious, dark and approachable trance tracks that seem to hit the mark on every level.

From Megatech about the set: “I recorded this liveset with Ableton and my APC-40 with loops and segments from my tracks, and then I went in and improved it afterwards because some of it was really messed up and I didn't feel like redoing it 🙂 I also mixed and "mastered" it afterwards in reaaally broad strokes so some of it is not so perfect. But who cares - I like it this way.”
