Mountain Spring Music was born from the collaboration of two great friends across the ocean. They've spent the last 7 years blurring the boundaries of time and borders, using the cloud and video conferencing to remove distance.

Seth is a songwriter who clearly takes his cues from Dylan and his words sound like a modern version of something ancient.
Tomer (Sally T.) is a bass player, sound experimenter and producer & studio engineer who's studio is a laboratory featuring the Tree of Mic.

The two met in Israel at a festival of attended by people from over 70 countries who came together to workshop and talk about how to connect hearts about all differences. Kindred spirits from the start, they began collaborating within a month. 

Throwing all conventions out the window they began searching for a sound. It would take 7 years for them to settle into that sound. During the process, they invited a broad spectrum of musicians to join their songs. On their first 13 collaborations, they worked with 60 musicians from around the globe. Developing a way to pass tracks in the cloud around the world and build songs virtually.

Between 2016-2017 they picked some of these collaborators to put together a rock set and took it on the road. The audiences loved the chemistry, the humor, the depth of lyrics and connection of the band with each other and the intimacy with the audience. This process transformed the direction of the band and MSM set out to capture this sound on their debut album.

Thokkian Vortex is a Black Metal band featuring the Lord Kaiaphas, the singer for the Norwegian black metal band, Ancient. Their debut album, "Into The Nagual" was released at the end of January 2016 by Unexploded records(Sweden). Their second album, "Thy Throne is Mine", was released in 2020 by Non Serviam Records(Netherlands).
A new album, Lucifer Lucem Proferens, will be released on Nov.27th 2025 by Folter Records(Germany).

Biography
Ran Salman is a Live Act, DJ and Producer. Influenced by a broad range of electronic music genres from house, deep house and techno to disco and world music, he created his very own style.Arrangements of spherical melodies and edgy elements, combined with oriental influences from his home country and various percussion, he is expressing his thoughts and emotions through analog synthesizers, drum machines, bass guitar and even his own voice.Ran is also a live artist who builds and crafts his own unique instruments and performs with them in a new and exciting way.Over the years, Ran has gained great support from Solomun, Magdalena, Black Coffee, Agents of Time, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and many more.In 2014 Ran signed to the Berlin based label Steyoyoke, with his ‘Fractured Memories’ EP.Ever since, Ran Salman released under Steyoyoke / Steyoyoke Black label, Einmusika / EIN2, The Soundgarden and in 2018 he joined BOg’s imprint ‘ATLANT Recordings’ with his EP ‘Through The Woods’ which gained a lot of support in the Afro House scene, hitting the Beatport chart at #3 for a while.Currently Ran is working on building new instruments for his live shows and performing live acts and DJ sets around the world.
