"This mix is a live recording from a recent visit to Podlasie in Chicago. When I gig, I think less about how I’m supposed to sound and focus on recalling, reconnecting with, and sharing music I love. As such there’s a ton of old favorites in the mix that span eras, genres, and moods. It is a capture of old favorites meeting new favorites. This ambassadorial practice of compiling new and old is a symbolic act of finding a sense of familiarity within unfamiliarity. It creates a level of genuineness that is vital for world building and sonic transportation while being resistant to consumption, possession, and escape. It highlights how one can encounter a new world without leaving this planet. Worlds are made of context and exchange; planets are made of matter, gas, and gravity."

ExHouse aka Experimental Housewife is a Bay Area-based DJ and live performer of 25 years. Over the last 10 years, she has become an icon of deep commitment to electronic sound and the art of storytelling. Deemed a "pillar of the underground" by RA, ExHouse started out as a teen raver, obsessed with the sound and attitude of the electronica of the 90s, before being drawn to ambient and post-rock in the early 00s, from which she takes much technical and aesthetic influence. Today she brings diverse cataloging and fluid turntable savvy to the dance floor, causing holes to appear in people's shoes while making "it look so easy". With an ear for contemplative bangers, deep grooves, and heavy drone, ExHouse has released original dance and ambient works on Jacktone, Schmer, True Indigo, Identity Spectrum Records and more. She owns and operates Perfect Location Records, a highly curated cross-medial label geared toward the greater distribution of honest and independent electronic music. She has toured North America and Europe and participates in a number of underground-forward outlets.

First up is Seb H.'s closing set; a masterclass in the building of tension, juxtaposing of dreamy melodies with wobbly bass & warm and fuzzy techno, journeying seamlessly through dark winding half time, jungle, de-school-basement-esque techno & even some dreamy tearjerking house.

"So I knew Jasmín could finish her set pretty much anywhere - from 130 techno to 170 drum’n’bass, I wanted to be ready to take over from anywhere. I put together blocks of roughly 10 records that all had a similar vibe/tempo: a block of hypnotic techno, a block of dubstep, DnB/half-time etc. And then I had transition records that could get me between each block. So on the night it was just a case of moving between the blocks in an order that made sense 😌"

Seb H. playing the closing set epitomises what we are trying to do at kinetic. Pair established artists with incredibly talented yet under the radar DJs, who totally deserve a space to perform. Seb's understanding of the emotional connection withe the dance floor & his records make him a truly special talent.

This time with our beloved friend from Ecuador, Spektrx, in collaboration with Foozz from Costa Rica, they have created Unssen Presence EP, they have produced two incredible tracks loaded with many psychedelic vibrations and groove sounds typical of Psy-Tech, a musical style that represents both of them. 
Unssen Presence & Expired are the gems of this EP. 
A remix created by Iranian producer Psysha, Psy-Tech in the purest style. The second remix made by Argentine producer BOES, known for his Minimal Techno style without forgetting Psychedelic frequencies. 
All artists involved in this release are heavyweights, signed to the world's most important labels in the world of Psy-Tech and Minimal Techno. 
Remixes were a must, including one by Iranian producer Psysha, who delivers a remix in pure Psy-Tech style.
