“Near the star Vega in the Summer Triangle asterism, the massive array of radio telescopes built by the lost spacefaring civilizations of the past receive a constant stream of high frequency transmissions from a small blue telluric planet 25 light years away. For the past ten years, a stream of a new type of music that is heavily percussive and lacks the organic vocalizations of the beings assumed to live on this alien world has been received. The rhythm of this music seems to be inherently primordial in its form, but consists of sound waves believed to be created digitally by inorganic machines.
