I'm pleased to share this live recording from this year's Lightning in a Bottle via "The Junkyard Stage."  It's been my experience that sometimes, the really good ones don't get recorded.  I'm glad this one did, so that those whom were present can relive it and those whom were not, can listen for the time.  NJOY! <3

I was given the honor of playing for @opulentchillmusic at 5pm on burn night (Saturday) at this year's Burning Man. I contemplated leaving the event when driving a friend to Reno on the Thursday before but had spent more than a month collecting and cultivating some music and returned to BRC beyond excited to play... until the weather took a turn for the worst and forced me to miss my set while sheltering in place (you may have seen the news).

A friend and I spent more than eight hours exiting the city (the time it took to reach actual road/pavement) yesterday, and I'm beyond grateful to be home. I wanted to record a mix while my feelings about the past few days and our shared experiences (trauma bonding?) were still fresh. I hope you enjoy!

Thank you so much to Opulent Chill for the opportunity to play and to the amazing friends who took me in when it was clear that my tent situation was not going to work with the incoming weather. Burning Man 2023 for Opulent Chill [September 2023]

After the Man burned this year, a party randomly developed at my camp Shangri-Lawless. We just started serving drinks, Kim.B decided to spin a few tunes, and all of a sudden we had a packed house. This was my favorite night of my first Burn. Everyone had so much energy and the vibe was a combination of gratitude and pure elation.

At some point, I randomly jumped on to play a bit and ended up bouncing around for a few hours. Ableton wouldn't let me upload more than this, so the early part of my set (including the random half-hour haus music sesh) will be up soon.

I hope you all enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed playing it. I may or may not have been a bit too burnt up and may or may not have spaced out at the end of this mix.

This was my first trip to the Joshua Tree Music Festival.  It definitely lived up to and exceeded any expectations I may have had.  The beautiful community of music enthusiasts it attracted was second to none.  They came with me wherever I went musically.  There's nothing like being physically present, but I'm trusting some of the magic from that beautiful evening under stars will translate via this recording into something that will leave your soul smiling. LIVE @ BURNING MAN (09.02.11) - BLOND:ISH

This set was recorded live on the Disco Space Shuttle with an incredible trumpet player by the name of Pablo (Paul Theodore Chandler). We were engulfed by a massive dust storm for the first couple hours of this set but it didn't slow us down. We kept the vibe going until the skies cleared and provide a beautiful view of the Man burning. 

The final hour of the set was a 2x2 tag team session with Lushbunny while we drove around the Playa looking for trouble. 

Big shoutout to the Disco Space Shuttle crew for sharing their vibe, sound and love with all of us on Burn Night.

Just another sunset in the desert... Or could it have been a special occasion? There was the aerialist hanging from a crane, there were ecstatic screams from every direction, there was family all around me, there was abundant tequila and infinite smiles, and there might even have been some Barry White. The sunsets at DISTRiKT continue to be the best party of the year for me. If you missed it this year...this is what it sounded like.

The Scumfrog - DISTRIKT Music - Episode 164

Thanks to all the happy faces who stayed up all night or who set their dusty alarm clocks to come and dance with us Wednesday morning. Having been on the other side of the speakers for many a sunrise it was a treasured moment to play this music, which holds a lot of emotions for many of us.

We want to thank Fleetwood Mac for the original magic and Robot Heart for creating the opportunity to crank it loud and proud. The edits and remixes included were created by us (Roxanne Roll and Smooth Sailing) and many of our producer friends who we’d like to thank for their work and passion: Psychemagik, In Flagranti, Antenna Happy, Twin Sun, Dean Kenny, Youth Edits, Cosmic Kids and Trail Mix.

Fleetmac Wood - Robot Heart 10 Year Anniversary - Burning Man 2017

Here is my set from Rainbow Serpent Festival 2018. So so so grateful to be able to share my music again at this magical event. I've never felt more comfortable, relaxed and open as I did when presenting my music on this morning. To have so many people dancing at 4:30am on the chill out floor was totally overwhelming and a moment i will never forget. Also a massive THANK YOU to all the tribe who came down to support and see me play. It was such a nice surprise and i am grateful to have all your beautiful energy there. 🙂 🙂  

A special mention to Maddy Lou for recording the spoken word piece at the start of the set. We recorded this in the forest on the land at the beginning of the festival ❤ ❤ I hope you all get as much enjoyment out of this set as I did producing and playing it. I shall see you all in the near future 🙂
