Mia Mangata Bio

Mia Mangata discovered her love for electronic music 17 years ago in Frankfurt am Main. In 2016, she moved to Berlin. 3 years later, after countless forays through Berlin's diverse club scene, Mia started to fill the local dance floors with her sound. Shortly after she had begun DJing, her sets were featured by "Jeden Tag ein Set". Last year, she published her first track "Irregular" together with Floordrobe. Mia Mangata’s style ranges from Progressive House, Melodic Techno, and Indie Dance up to Techno. Her sets, characterized by a continuous increase of energy, are driving, melodic, and bass-heavy. They give listeners an energy boost in their legs and take them on a musical rollercoaster ride.

"Energy, power & freedom is what we want to express with our sound. The feeling of power, energy and freedom is what we want to achieve with our sound."

"The most sacred things to us are family and friends." 

What are upcoming releases of yours we can look forward to?
"We're currently working on our first EP together. The first track with a feature by the singer @johasnon is finished and is currently being remixed by the boys from @thirdpersonmusic and we are currently working on the second one. Stay tuned!"

The art of music has touched the hearts of human beings around the planet for thousands of years. Especially dance music allows us to unify with the flow of the music. When we express the energy it releases within us, by just giving ourselves to it and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of our bodies, we can experience a state of connection, peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We do this by providing a thoughtfully curated space for artists and labels to share their music, organizing events & live-streams and serving as a platform to share ideas on music and the creative process.
