Ninetyfour. gehört mittlerweile seit 6 Jahren zur Berliner Szene und hat über die Grenzen der Hauptstadt hinaus, seinen Sound in Teilen Europas präsentiert.

Durch die Symbiose der beiden, entsteht ein wiederkehrendes Soundbild, bestehend aus fetten Basslines und epischen Melodien, dass die beiden mit Elementen der 90er anreichern.
Sie bilden damit eine Brücke von sphärischem Melodic House zu treibendem Melodic Techno und formen so ihren typischen Sound. Die erste gemeinsame EP der beiden ist bereits produziert und ergänzt das klangliche Repertoire der beiden perfekt.

Sie haben ihr Zuhause im bekannten Ritter Butzke gefunden und ihre Referenzen lesen sich von legendären Locations, wie dem Watergate und Sisyphos über großartige Festivals, wie dem Feel und absoluten Institutionen, wie der Salon zur Wilden Renate oder dem Bahnwärter Thiel, wie das Who is Who der Techno Szene.

Revelation of Sound is pleased to present talented artist Cream, also known as Krzysztof Kupczakiewicz. He was born in Krakow (Poland), and currently lives in Jaroslaw (Poland). He developed a fascination for music owing to his father who would inculcate Chris's interest in the music of the Beatles in his early years. Throughout his childhood, Chris showed interest in New Romantic (Thomson Twins, Duran Duran) and electropop (Depeche Mode, OMD). During adolescence, Chris discovered a passion for electronic music (Kitaro, Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre), which shaped him musically to a great degree.
In 1984, Chris played his first gig when Eurodisco and Italo disco were the genres that prevailed on dance floors at the time. Six years later, he became a resident DJ at one of the first night clubs in Jaroslaw - Marashino. It was the place where Cream was able to gain his valuable musical experience. In the mid 90s, Chris felt a deep fascination for trance and house - the two genres that dominated music clubs a few years later. In 1996, Chris held a permanent residency at the Reno Club in Jaroslaw, which was the cradle of house music in the region at the time. During his nearly ten-year residency at Reno, he held a lot of theme parties where he used to invite top Polish DJs. During the period of 20 years that Cream spent in Jaroslaw, he played in almost all of its clubs, working simultaneously as a sound engineer, which let him expand his knowledge of sound engineering.
Since 2004, he has played in many clubs in Rzeszow (Poland) including the Chilli Club where he spent 9 consecutive years working as a resident DJ and where he organized a series of events with alternative music called Night Session together with his friend Nexy. In 2012, he joined the ranks of the booking agency "Sentence", belonging to one of the best Polish DJs - Angelo Mike. Since March 2013, he has been hosting his own radio show "Terminal" which covers a broad spectrum of progressive music on Proton radio Recently.
Currently, with Deep Fog, he forms a producer duo. Their shared passion for broadly understood electronic music has already resulted in several realeases of a very respected labels in the world, such as: Particles, Electronic Tree, Soundteller Records, Stellar Fountain Records, Never Too Late Recordings, Massive Harmony, Evocative, BQ Recordings, Pineapple Digital, Revelation Records, 3rd Avenue, Superordinate Music,Yang, OLD SQL Recordings, BC2 Records, Inmost Records, Per-vurt'Records, Aeriform Records, Visceral, Abstract Space Records, Aethereal, Balkan Connection, PHW Elements, Majestic Familly Records, Pro B Tech Music, Existence Music.
In 2016 they have won competition for a remix of legendary Moonbeam.
Their productions are supported by some highly regarded artists i.e. Hernan Cattaneo, Chicane, Gai Barone, Armin Van Buuren.
The debut single „Kiki” was holding a frist place at the Polish club charts of FTB portal.Currently his first solo productions are due to be released and there is more of remixes and productions at finishing stages
It's hard to classify Chris's musical style. Currently, it's a combination of house, progressive, tech house and minimal techno sounds. In his spare time, Cream enjoys relaxing with music by listening to some good chill out, classical music (Bach, Strauss, Beethoven), or jazz with Chris Botti at the helm.
His input into development of the national club scene has been appreciated as he was awarded with 3rd place on a national competition Polish Electronic Music Awards "MUNOLUDY 2014" in best dj/producer category.
Cream, who has spent over 25 years working as a DJ, can freely admit that music is his passion that lasts indefinitely.

Geräuschvoll zermalmt mein Mitbewohner den Mürbeteig in der Metallschüssel, so wie noch ein Paar Monate zuvor die Infrabässe mein Zwerchfell. Meine Aufmerksamkeit richtet sich nach innen und ich beginne, in Floorerinnerungen zu schwelgen. Ich gebe mich meinem Tagträumen vollends hin und schwebe gefühlt eine Stunde über die Tanzflächen längst vergangener Nächte. Plötzlich reißt mich die Stimme meines Mitbewohners mit aller Härte zurück in die sogenannte Realität. 

"Fett, wa?" 

Fragend blicke ich in sein erwartungsvolles Grinsen. 
"Na, der neue Kopfüber Cast von Darwesh! So gemütlich, treibend, träumend!"

@darwesh51 ist schon seit langem mit Kopfüber verbunden. Unter seinem früheren Alias "Ivorie"  hat er zusammen mit Danger Dave, damals noch "Ambi", eine erste EP auf dem Keller Label mit dem wohlklingenden Namen "Castalia" veröffentlicht. Heute präsentiert er uns den neuen Kopfüber Cast in deepem, schnellem, technoidem Gewand. Und noch dazu steht das Release seiner Ep "Machine Mathematics" bei uns kurz bevor, inklusive Remix von @dangerrrave. 

Wer ganz genau hinhört, wird in diesem Cast schon einen ersten kleinen Höreindruck erhaschen können. 

In diesem vorfreudigen Sinne: Bleibt gesund, lasst euch nicht von Weihnachten oder einer blöden Pandemie die gute Laune verderben und genießt diese gemütlich treibend träumende Techno Interpretation von Darwesh!

Sterioa shows a different musical direction with his new podcast on Sonne, Strand und Meer: ‚‘’With this new podcast, you will hear a different style of music compared to what I normally show. In my daily life, I listen to a big variety of genres which inspire me and instead of sticking to a fixed genre, naturally, I prefer to release something that drives me at that given moment regardless of the genre or style. Aside from podcasts, in general, I incorporate this mentality throughout all my productions. As music has been a continuous journey throughout my life, I believe that its hard to evolve and progress by staying in one area. That being said, since my musical journey migrated from the early hip hop days to electro punk, drum and bass, techno and house, I feel like incorporating all of these influences into my current work. Expect a wide range of directions to be released over these next months.’’

Der heutige Podcast ist zweifellos außergewöhnlich und in seiner Beschaffenheit einmalig auf KataHaifisch. Die deutsch-französin Maloua Lou ist für das letzte Set des Jahres 2020 bei uns zu Gast und hat dafür ihre gesamte künstlerische Leidenschaft in die Waagschale geworfen.  Herausgekommen ist eine 71-minütige Downtempo Komposition mit Gesangseinlagen von Maloua selbst. Sie singt in ihrer Muttersprache und mit einem wunderbar ästhetischen Feingefühl. Ihre Stimme verpasst dem Mix einen magischen Rundschliff und lädt uns auf eine mentale Reise in die Weinberge der Provence und auf die idyllischen Sandstrände Korsikas ein. Ein akustischer Ausflug ins grüne und blaue dieser wunderschönen Erde. 

Wir möchten uns für das zurückliegende Jahr bedanken! 
Die vergangenen 12 Monate gingen vorbei wie im Flug und haben sich gleichzeitig gezogen wie ein zäher Kaugummi. Große Veränderungen haben in unser aller Leben Einzug gehalten und einige dieser Entwicklungen wären uns am liebsten erspart geblieben. Hingegen war der Start der KataHaifisch Webseite ein Highlight in 2020. Auf dieser Plattform könnt Ihr auch im kommenden Jahr mit viel qualitativen Output rechnen.
Auf unserer KataHaifisch SoundWolke ging es unerschrocken, kontinuierlich nach vorne. Unzählige Follower, sowie Plays & Co. gesellten sich zu uns. Dazu hat jeder einzelne von Euch etwas beigetragen!

The art of music has touched the hearts of human beings around the planet for thousands of years. It's a universal language with the ability to express what can't be expressed through words or thought. It can induce strong emotions, alter our states of consciousness and let us experience reality in a different way. It can draw us into the present moment, where just the music exists - unfolding through time, moment by moment. When we let go and merge into the auditory sensations, it takes us on an inner journey. Using this not to escape, but to fully embrace reality as it is, music can help us release tensions and bring balance to our everyday life. 
Especially dance music allows us to unify with the flow of the music. When we express the energy it releases within us, by just giving ourselves to it and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of our bodies, we can experience a state of connection, peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We do this by providing a thoughtfully curated space for artists and labels to share their music, organizing events & live-streams and serving as a platform to share ideas on music and the creative process.
